Phenomenal tour guide and booking experience

The trip was great. They did an amazing job coordinating everything, and it was a huge relief to let them handle it. They set up all the buses, train tickets, and the hotel stay perfectly. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job helping us get our actual tickets for the route we wanted. When we went to Machu Picchu as well, I was a little concerned at first because it would have been difficult to get the tickets since we did not book them in advance. But they were able to help us get everything. If you're going to Machu Picchu, especially if you have not bought the actual tickets for them months in advance, these guys are the people you should go with. They will make sure you can attend and that everything is set up for you and handled. It was a wonderfully curated experience and they handled everything very, very well. I highly recommend them and I plan to use them again.

So Good We Booked Them Twice!

The best recommendation we can give South Adventure Peru Tours is that we booked them twice during the same trip! We originally used them for a private Sacred Valley tour and were so pleased that we booked them again a few days later to tour the ruins around Cusco. Both experiences were excellent. What sets them apart is the flexibility and personal attention. The tours were completely tailored to us. If we saw something along the way and wanted to stop for a photo or to buy something, we stopped. Our guide also knew how to avoid the crowds, several times we were enjoying a site with very few people around, only to see the large tour buses arriving as we were leaving. The price was comparable to many larger group tours, but the experience was so much better. No rigid schedule, no waiting for a large group and we could spend our time on what interested us most. The service was exceptional as well. Ruben, the owner of the business, and his wife personally welcomed us when we arrived in Cusco. Ruben and his wife were there again the morning we departed. If you’re visiting Cusco or the Sacred Valley, we highly recommend South Adventure Peru Tours. Personalized, flexible, excellent value. And a company we were happy to use twice!

Understanding Machiu Pichiu, but not only!

Often foreigners think mainly about seeing Machiu Pichiu, but with this tour you can see really many other interesting sites! All the timings and the guide were excellent

An unforgettable family trip to Peru! Top-notch service from start to finish!

Choosing South Adventure for our private family tour was the best decision we made for our vacation. Traveling with kids and teenagers can be challenging, but this agency turned our trip to Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu into a smooth and absolutely perfect experience. Our driver was exceptional. He was incredibly punctual, very professional, and drove safely along the mountain roads. The van was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, giving us complete peace of mind throughout the journey. Our guides were the absolute heart of our trip. They are deeply knowledgeable about the Inca culture, speak fluent Portuguese, and were so sweet and engaging with the children. Katherine went completely above and beyond by taking stunning, professional-quality photos and videos of our family at the ruins. We didn't have to worry about a thing; they captured all our best memories perfectly. If you are looking for a reliable, safe, and premium private tour experience in Peru where the team genuinely cares about your family, look no further. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much for an incredible journey!

Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $535 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Two Days Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Adventure Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
