Another Outstanding Experience with VIP Tours Athens

This was our second time booking with VIP Tours Athens, and once again they were absolutely outstanding. We recommend them to all of our friends, and this trip reminded us exactly why. Our tour was led by George D, and he was exceptional from start to finish. He is a wonderful communicator, always clear, thoughtful, and proactive. As we approached each site, he gave us exactly the right amount of background and context to make the experience richer and more meaningful, and he answered every single question we had with patience and insight. What really stood out was how completely George put us at ease. We always felt very safe with him, both on the road and throughout the entire trip. He was calm, professional, and incredibly dependable, which made the whole experience relaxing as well as memorable. He was also amazing with our one-year-old granddaughter. He was kind, patient, and thoughtful throughout, and that made a huge difference for our family. Traveling with a young child can change the rhythm of a trip, but George handled everything so gracefully that we never felt stressed or rushed. Another highlight was the restaurants he took us to. They were fantastic — beautiful settings, delicious food, and exactly the kind of places we never would have found on our own. Most of all, it was always clear that our priorities and desires were also George’s priorities. He listened, adapted, and made the experience feel personal rather than scripted. That level of care is rare, and it is one of the reasons we have now booked with VIP Tours Athens twice. We would not hesitate to use VIP Tours Athens again, and we enthusiastically recommend both the company and George D.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and lovely feedback! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour and that Mr. George helped make your experience so special and memorable. Your recommendation means a lot to us. It's always rewarding to know that our efforts made a positive impact. We're committed to providing the best possible service, and it's great to hear that this was evident during your visit. We also sincerely appreciate your kind words about Katia-it means a great deal to us. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future!

Top of the line van with professional driver!

We used these guys for a transfer from the cruise port to the airport. The driver arrived ahead of schedule and was very pleasant. The van was top of the line, comfortable and plenty of room for luggage. Whether it’s for transfers or a full tour, I’d highly recommend these guys.

3 day family trip - Olympia, Delphi and Meteora (from Athens)

Great family trip. Very organized with clean, spacious, comfortable car; well stocked with water and snacks. Mr.Tasos our driver was exceptional. He was puntual and made our trip very easy - helping at hotels and restaurants and accomodating all our requests. Having a private driver and guides at Olympia, Delphi and Meteora allowed us to beat the crowds as much as is possible and made the history come to life - even the teenagers were fascinated. It was a lot of driving but worth it and I cannot recommend enough the 3 day trip we did. I highly recommend VIP Tours and our driver Mr. Tasos.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words and your review. It helps us to become better. We will be more than happy to serve you in the future.

Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora cost?

    +

Prices start at $1700 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Two day trip from Athens to Delphi and Meteora start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
