Great , safe two day Angkor Wat trip

We just had a lovely 2 day trip from Phnom Penh to Angkor Wat with our excellant driver Same. Safe, quality driving from Same kept us feeling relaxed. Lots of stops along the way and the lunch restaurant he took us to was an outdoor garden oasis. Dropped us at our overnight hotel and picked us up early for a big day out. Returned us to Phnom Penh safe and sound . Our temple tour guide was excellent too , very knowledgeable and great English. If you're lucky , Same will sing to you on your way home too ! Thanks Same for a quality experience

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review and for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you had a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable two-day journey from Phnom Penh to Angkor Wat. It means a great deal to know that Same's careful driving, friendly service, and thoughtful stops along the way helped make your trip memorable. We're also pleased that you enjoyed the garden restaurant, your temple guide's knowledge and English, and that everything from hotel transfers to your return journey went smoothly. Same will be especially happy to hear your kind words—and we're sure he'll be smiling to know that his singing made the journey home even more memorable! Thank you once again for choosing us. It was our pleasure to be part of your Cambodia adventure, and we hope to welcome you back again for your friends in the future. Warm regards, Pisith John General Manager

Two day tour, Phnom Penh to Siem Reap private tour.

Can’t speak highly enough about this tour. Polen the driver (both days) and guide on day 1 was amazing. We experienced eating spiders and visited Kokhanoko and Spean Praptos Bridge. Day 2 and Ben the guide joined us to take us to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm Temple also know as Tomb Raider Temple. Both were very considerate of our needs and made sure we were getting a very personalised experience. Highly recommend. 5 Stars.

Excellent 2 day option to visit Angkor from Phnom Penh

This is a very convenient and efficient way to visit Angkor over two days while staying in Phnom Penh. The first day includes travel to Siem Reap. For an additional fee, there is an option to visit Kampong Phluk, a floating village near the lake, which we found well worth seeing. There is also the possibility to take a boat ride through the mangroves. Please note that tipping seemed to be expected for this part. On the second day, you visit the three most important temples, which in my view is sufficient to gain an excellent overall impression of the Angkor site. You are given plenty of time at each location, and everything is well organized. We returned to Phnom Penh around 8 pm. We had a very kind and helpful driver, John, and a knowledgeable tour guide who made the experience even better. In summary, we were very happy with this tour and would recommend it to others.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! And thanks for highly recommended. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the 2-day trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and had a great experience visiting Angkor and Kampong Phluk. It’s great to know you found everything well organized and efficient, with plenty of time at each temple. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back to Cambodia again and happy to see your friends in the future! With kind regards Exclusive Cambodia Travel & Driver Team

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phnom Penh.

How much does Two Day Tour, Taxi Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Visit & Return cost?

    +

Prices start at $194 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phnom Penh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Two Day Tour, Taxi Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Visit & Return take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phnom Penh is not rushed.

Is Two Day Tour, Taxi Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Visit & Return worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phnom Penh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Two Day Tour, Taxi Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Visit & Return?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Two Day Tour, Taxi Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Visit & Return suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Two Day Tour, Taxi Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Visit & Return?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phnom Penh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phnom Penh and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Two Day Tour, Taxi Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Angkor Visit & Return start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phnom Penh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phnom Penh?

    +

On Outty we rank every Phnom Penh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Tuol Sleng S21 and Choeung Ek Killing Field Tour, The Killing Field and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) Tour, Killing field and Toul Sleng genocide museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phnom Penh?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phnom Penh?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
