The Perfect Guide

We had the most amazing time seeing the Angkor temples with Borey as our guide. He was so knowledgeable of Cambodian and Khmer history, and made the entire tour fun and interesting. He was very flexible and shaped the trip to exactly our needs. And he’s a great photographer! Sunrise at Angkor Wat and exploring Ta Prohm were two unforgettable experiences that shouldn’t be missed.

Response from the operator: Dear my valuable client, Thank you so much for your feedback. It was pleasure working for you for your trip to Angkor and helping to make your trip great memorable. All the best to you!

Borey and Angkor Heritage are the only ones we would use to visit the Temples around Angkor Wat.

Borey made the two days such a sensational experience and one we will never forget. Highly recommend Borey and Angkor Heritage Tours.

Response from the operator: Dear my valued customer, thank you for your feedback, it gives me energy to keep working hard and I will make sure everyone has learned something about Cambodian culture and history when visiting Cambodia.

Angkor Heritage Tours and Mr Hang Borey is the only tour guide we would use in Siem Reap

Mr Hang Borey from Angkor Heritage Tours was the best guide we have had in travelling around the world. He was knowledgeable and very much made sure we experienced as much of Diem Resps temples as was possible in the short time we had. His car was clean and his enthusiasm for the temples was contagious. We cannot recommend Borey highly enough. Spending time with him you will come away with a much deeper understanding of the Cambodian culture, Hindu and Buddhist influences and have a great time doing it. Borey really went out of his way to make our tour memorable and awesome.

Response from the operator: Dear my valued customer, thank you so much for booking your Angkor temples tour with me and your kindness feedback. I wish you all the best

We recommend that you hire Borey Hang as your Private Siem Riep Tour guide

If you are on a short stay to Siem Riep (less than 7 days), a private tour guide like Borey excellent for navigating Angkor and accessing Cambodian society. Borey has excellent English, is super passionate about continuing to build his knowledge of the history of the area even though he is already well-versed (he is a lifetime student of Angkor). He grew up in a nearby village and is committed to enhancing the foreign tourist experience and access to Cambodia n culture because he sincerely believes that a positive relationship between foreign tourists and the people of Siem Riep is an important part of improving the opportunities for the local people. He is honest, super trustworthy, and he is happy to engage with all all your questions and also help you interact with local people. My wife, myself, and our teenage American kids spent two days with Borey. We were in Siem Riep for 3 nights (two full days). We spent the first day at Angkor, which was amazing and Borey helped us navigate the crowded temple in a way that avoided the crowds to the extent possible. In the second day we went a local market and a stilt village built upon the lake that Siem Riep is built upon. It was a great way to learn so much about the community and its economy and infrastructure in such a short period. We highly recommend Borey.

The best guide you could ever choose.

Borey is such an incredible guide. He has such a detailed knowledge not just of the history of the temples, but also the cultural and religious contexts of Hinduism and Buddhism. Most of all, however, Borey was such a friendly and charming person. He is the easiest person to have a conversation with (in English) and genuinely felt like a friend by the end of our two days with him. I wish we could have stayed in Cambodia longer just to spend more days touring with Borey. Borey promptly picked us up in his comfortable Lexus (for a family of 4 adults) and was flexible and accommodating to what we were interested in.

Response from the operator: Dear my valued client, thank you for your feedback! It was nice meeting you and sharing Cambodian history and Angkor history. I hope it would help you learn about Cambodia and remember Cambodia is one of beautiful countries and nice people. My best wishes to you and your family!

Two Day Angkor Temples Tours: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Two Day Angkor Temples Tours cost?

+

Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Two Day Angkor Temples Tours take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Two Day Angkor Temples Tours worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Two Day Angkor Temples Tours?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Two Day Angkor Temples Tours suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Two Day Angkor Temples Tours?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Two Day Angkor Temples Tours start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
