10/10 Horseback riding and Wine Tasting
Started with a beautiful drive in a luxury vehicle from Rome to Tuscany. Horseback riding through vinyards was amazing, scenic, and relaxing. Followed by a wine tasting at Canneto with fresh meat and cheese boards overlooking the vinyards. The whole experience is worth the price, and a real good opportunity to get outside of Rome. We would 100% do this again. All the guides and drivers were super friendly and accomodating.
Response from the operator: "Thank you so much for your beautiful words, Mr. Jeffrey! It was a true pleasure having you as our guests. Your kindness made everything so easy and enjoyable, and it truly encourages us to keep doing our best. You are wonderful people who really know how to enjoy a vacation. Warm regards! You are always welcome here, and we look forward to your next adventure with us."

Tuscany
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing experience with Alex on the Tuscany horseback riding tour! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. The hotel pickup and drop-off were seamless and made the day completely stress-free. The horseback ride through the beautiful Tuscan countryside was breathtaking, and the wine and cheese tasting was outstanding. One of the highlights was the delicious lunch at the restaurant, where we enjoyed authentic pici pasta that was absolutely incredible. Alex was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a wonderful time. This was one of the best experiences of our trip to Italy, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tuscany. Thank you, Alex, for an unforgettable day! 🇮🇹🍷🐎✨
Response from the operator: Good morning! Mrs. Patricia, it was a real pleasure having you as our guests. You are wonderful people, eager to make your vacation a reality. Thanks to your kindness, helpfulness, and enthusiastic participation, we were able to organize the activities in the best possible way. Thank you for your kind words and for the immense satisfaction you give us in knowing you enjoyed your stay with us! Best regards and warmest regards to you! We look forward to seeing you next time. Many wonderful things to come for you! 🍀

Saddle up!
The horseback riding was great! We really enjoyed the winery and the knowledgable staff. The views and wine did not disappoint. Montepulciano was beautiful. The only thing I would change is that I would opt for lunch at a restaurant in Montepulciano rather than the vineyard. The food was good but we would have preferred something a little more substaintial.
Response from the operator: Dear customer good morning, it was a real pleasure to have you with us! Thank you for your comment and we are happy that you enjoyed your day in Tuscany. You are fantastic too! Regarding lunch you are free to choose, having the cutting boards with typical products of the area during the tasting is an additional option without obligation, the other option was to go after the tasting to a nice local restaurant. However we will be very careful next time to clearly specify this choice. Thanks again for your help. Best regards!

Magical tour to Tuscany!
This was the highlight of the trip! The horseback riding was magical and then we went to the city of Montepulciano. A castle on top of a huge mountain with shops and wine everywhere. And then the winery was unforgettable. The wine, the food, the view! You have to book this!
Response from the operator: Very kind Mr Anthony, we are happy that you enjoyed every step of the day, we have customized everything for you! Thank you so much for your participation with us and thank you for your precious words! We are here and look forward to seeing you next time. Greetings

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome cost?
+
Prices start at $515 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tuscany Horse Riding and Wine Tasting Private Tour from Rome start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
