    Love those Limos

First let me say that the tour listed does not do Rome in Limo Justice. We used them for transportation from the airport to Rome Hotel, from the hotel to Civitavecchia and a private limo to Montalcino on a planned visit to wineries. Each of three drivers were excellent, helping us with our luggage, on time and friendly. The all day trip to Montalcino had been planned by me choosing the wineries, the restaurant for lunch with reservations. the timing was perfect as he and we kept to the schedule. Throughout our four days in Rome they were on time cordial and helpful. I can lnly say that if you need transportation or touring contact them

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time out of your day to post your comment, I'm glad to know that you had a great time with us! Our goal is to provide excellent services for our clients, it is rewarding to see our efforts recognized in your review. Hope to see you back soon!

    A perfect taste of Tuscany

I can't say enough about our Tuscany day trip - our favorite day of the trip, thanks to Francisco our driver. He was prompt, friendly, and so great to answer our questions and make sure we had scenic photo ops. We added Orvieto and loved it along with the other two. Our winery visit was great as well. A full day but well worth it and we feel like we really got the "feel" of the real Tuscany. Francisco was a perfect guide for this trip - plenty of free time to wander and shop ! A+++++

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the A+++++ review! Hearing that this was the favorite day of your trip absolutely makes our day. We're thrilled that Francesco took such great care of you and helped you capture those perfect scenic photo ops. Adding Orvieto to the mix is always a brilliant idea, and we're so glad you got to experience the true "feel" of Tuscany with a great winery visit and plenty of time to wander and shop. We'll definitely pass your huge shoutout along to Francesco! Thanks for spending such a perfect day with us, and we'd love to welcome you back for another adventure anytime!

    Lovely day

Wine tasting and the countryside was nice. The driver was very good, but we expected a tour guide experience.

Response from the operator: Thanks for the review! We're so glad you enjoyed the beautiful countryside and the wine tasting, and that your driver took great care of you. We just wanted to gently clarify that this specific trip is set up as a private, English-speaking driver experience rather than a fully guided tour. While our drivers are fantastic and know the area well, they aren't officially licensed tour guides, which is why the experience was a bit different than what you were expecting. We really appreciate your feedback and hope you brought home some great memories (and maybe a few good bottles of wine!) from Tuscany.

    I could live in Tuscany!

The driver was very knowledgeable about the area and surroundings. He was friendly & helpful. Tuscany is such a beautiful area & countryside. I had lunch & wine tasting in Multipliciano & I was treated so well.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the lovely review! We are so glad you enjoyed the breathtaking scenery of Tuscany, there really is nothing quite like those rolling hills and vineyards. It sounds like you had a wonderful time in Montepulciano! That town is famous for its incredible wine and hospitality, and we're thrilled to hear you were treated so well during your lunch and tasting. We'll be sure to pass your kind words along to your driver, who will be happy to know his local knowledge and friendly vibe made your day even better. Cheers to many more beautiful memories! We hope to see you back in the countryside again soon.

Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver cost?

    +

Prices start at $232 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome with Private Driver start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

    +

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

    +

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
