Good Tour But Not as Advertised
The guide was good and overall it was a good tour. However, do not buy the $20 extra lunch option it was at some very low quality restaurant that should have cost $5 or less and I still had to pay another 4 dinar for the soda which apparently was not included (ridiculous) also lunch definitely was NOT at the beautiful Cafe de Delices as advertised. I was told that its too expensive?? Well i paid 60 Dinar extra so that was the price i paid for! We also did not enter the eZiTouna mosque only walked past it. For me this was false advertising which I really hate. The tour needs to be accurately described and for $120 i expect it to be as described or better especially in a non expensive place like Tunisia.
Response from the operator: You booked the option that does not include lunch. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred at the restaurant, as dining there was entirely your personal choice. At no point did we advertise or state that lunch would be provided at Café des Délices.

Great overview of Tunis
Great tour with lots to see. Wish we had a little time to shop in the Medina. Van ride was so hot as they did not run the air conditioning

A wonderful day with a knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide!
I had a wonderful time on this tour! We were able to see so many things and our tour guide, Boutheina (BouBou) was amazing!! Her English was perfect, she was knowledgeable, kind, and you can tell she really enjoys her job! She has been a guide for 20+ years and knew everyone along the way. It was like traveling VIP! She showed me the shops she buys from personally and I was able to get the best shopping experience with the highest quality items. My driver, Hichem was also kind, professional and did a great job getting us the best access to all the sites. I will definitely tour with this company again upon my return!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that Boutheina (BouBou) made your tour so enjoyable with her knowledge, enthusiasm, and VIP touches, and that Hichem ensured a smooth and professional experience. It’s fantastic that you had such a memorable visit and shopping experience. We’re happy to see you in one of SAHARANSKY destinations in the near future!

Fabulous day with amazing guide
We arrived on a cruise ship with friends. I had booked prior to leaving UK. They were so helpful with my queries. Our guide was Boo Boo. She was fantastic. A wealth of information. We started off at the Bardo museum which blew us all away with the mosaics. We then went to the Medina which was fascinating and then had a wonderful lunch of fish soup and fish with fresh chips and salad. We then set off for Carthage and Antonious baths. Finally we went to the wonderful seaside place Sidi Bou Said with its narrow streets and white houses with blue shutters. Because we were in a small minibus we were taken to the top and walked down. Coaches could not do this so they would have a climb up the hill. It was a long day but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Boo Boo was amazing. Thoroughly recommend these guys for a fantastic day and much cheaper than the ships offering.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that Boo Boo made your day so memorable, from the Bardo Museum to the Medina, Carthage, and Sidi Bou Said. It’s fantastic that the vehicle allowed such a comfortable and unique experience. We’re happy to see you in one of SAHARANSKY destinations in the near future!

If you want to see pretty much everything worth seeing in no time, this tour is perfect. I was only in Tunis for one day and enjoyed seeing the beauty of the city so compact.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tunis.
How much does Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tunis usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tunis is not rushed.
Is Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Tunis, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tunis can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tunis and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tunis Group Tour: Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo museum & Medina start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tunis within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tunis?
+
On Outty we rank every Tunis experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Walking Tour through the Medina of Tunis(Pay what you want), Private tour: Medina,Carthage ,Sidi Bou Said, Bardo Museum+lunch, Private Tour to Kairouan, El Jem & Monastir from Tunis_hammamet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tunis?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tunis?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
