About this experience
The activity begins from the beach next to the El Paraíso beach club where our staff will welcome you. First, we do a quick check-in: we give you safety information and our staff will help you put on your life jacket. After check-in we help you board the boat and begin the walk to the reef. At the reef, our crew will hand you the snorkeling equipment and after you use it, we will be ready to enter the water to see the marine life. Then we will pass in front of the Mayan Ruins of Tulum to see the panoramic view of the emblematic castle. We finish the tour arriving back at the beach.

An incredible experience from start to finish!
This snorkeling tour in Tulum completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived at the beach, the team was friendly, organized, and very professional. They gave clear safety instructions and helped us with all the equipment, which made us feel comfortable and well prepared even though it was our first time snorkeling. The reef was beautiful, we saw plenty of marine life. Perfect short activity in Tulum — highly recommend!

Amazing tour for sea turtles
This was an amazing trip. We saw the most colourful tropical fish, sting rays and sea turtles on the beautiful coral reefs. The views of Tulum Ruins were amazing. The length of the tour was perfect if you don’t have long in Tulum. Our guide Azael and the captain were the best guides you could hope for. We’d definitely recommend this trip as amazing value for what you experience.
Response from the operator: It was a pleasure to meet you and show you the wonders of Tulum

Tulum Snorkeling: with 2 reef points, 2 hours tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.
How much does Tulum Snorkeling: with 2 reef points, 2 hours tour cost?

Is Tulum Snorkeling: with 2 reef points, 2 hours tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Tulum Snorkeling: with 2 reef points, 2 hours tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tulum?
+
On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tulum?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tulum?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
