Highly recommended photoshoot service
The photoshoot experience was great! Had a surprise proposal photoshoot planned. Hiram was quick to respond, provided great suggestions for the planning part and managed to take the photos of proposal itself while being hidden. The photoshoot was well coordinated and was executed smoothly. Overall it was fun to work with him. The photographs were wonderful. We were fully satisfied with the service. Highly recommended!

Hiram transforms moments into timeless images—his expertise is worth every shot.
Our photography session in Tulum with Hiram was nothing short of outstanding. He masterfully set each scene with stunning backgrounds that truly captured the spirit of the location. With multiple outfit changes, varied orientations, and creative posing guidance, Hiram’s expertise shined through every frame. His keen eye for detail—even suggesting small touches like wearing tennis shoes without socks for the perfect vibe—made all the difference. He was easy to communicate with, gave clear direction, and made the entire experience enjoyable and seamless. Whether for an intimate shoot with two people or a larger group, Hiram’s unmatched skill and professionalism make him well worth the investment. Thank you, Hiram, for capturing unforgettable moments in such a memorable way. Hiram transforms moments into timeless images, and his expertise is worth every shot.

Seamless and beautiful results - company policy needs to be reviewed
Shooting with Hiram was such a seamless experience. He came to us (session included my husband, his sister and parents) which made things easy and was intentional about finding the locations that worked the best. My favorite thing about Hiram was how comfortable he made us and my parents feel when he was shooting - he really made sure the photos looked as natural as possible which is exactly what I wanted. No hesitations he’s my go to on future trips! The photos of course were phenomenal. The inconvenience unrelated to Hiram was that it was a bit hard to actually see the photos when we received them because of the pretty big logo that was put on top of them especially for the close up photos. I understand the concern about people screenshoting photos but for the price you pay for the photoshoot I don’t think that should be a factor. The raw photos should come with the package. Hiram helped us work around it by taking photos of his screen without the logo to show us how they looked which we appreciated but I think that’s a step that could have been avoided.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tulum Private Photoshoot: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.
How much does Tulum Private Photoshoot cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tulum Private Photoshoot take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.
Is Tulum Private Photoshoot worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tulum Private Photoshoot?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Tulum Private Photoshoot suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tulum Private Photoshoot?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tulum Private Photoshoot start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tulum?
+
On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Coba Ruins, Punta Laguna Nature Reserve, Cenote and Mayan family, Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Chichen Itza, Cenote and Valladolid Small Group Day Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tulum?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tulum?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
