Perfectly Planned and Captured Proposal Thanks To Santiago!

Santiago was instrumental in making my surprise proposal to my girlfriend a reality. He was very thorough in answering all my questions about the process and also took the time to work with me on planning and execution to ensure the proposal would be a surprise. This is despite me not being able to scout the venue for the proposal. And my girlfriend was indeed very surprised. The photos turned out wonderful and we were able to ask for certain photos to be edited to our liking as well. Additionally, I had a special request to ask for the audio/video from my proposal speech be fully captured which his videographer partner was able to take care of. The video clips were then pieced together into a montage which came out professionally edited. However, I forgot to specify that this should have been filmed in landscape instead of portrait. So remember to specify this if you have a preference! In the end, I could not have asked for a more perfect planner and photographer combination. And I would be honestly excited to work with Santiago again!

Nailed our proposal vision! 🎉

Santiago absolutely nailed our proposal vision! 🎉 He was so much more than just a photographer; he played an essential role in planning the event, organizing the venue, and communicating with them to ensure it was super stress-free. 🎈 He even suggested bringing flowers 🌸, which was such a thoughtful touch! Santiago truly went above and beyond to make our special moment unforgettable. 💖 We couldn't have asked for a more amazing photographer and planner. Huge thanks for all your help in making everything run smoothly for us! 🙏 We absolutely loved our proposal picture 📸 and the highlight video that Gaby created. I highly recommend Santiago for your next photoshoot! You won’t regret it! 👍

Amazing tour!!!!!

Santiago is excellent at what he does, he takes his time to teach you more about the places you are visiting and he also recommends others and gives you a lot of advice, his treatment is as if you have known him your whole life and he is also fun, the photos I loved them, they turned out just the way I wanted them and I had a lot of fun, thank you Santiago for everything! Without a doubt, an experience that I recommend for all travelers who visit Tulum!

Santiago was great!!!

Santiago was great! Very nice to talk to, prepared, and considerate - plus our photos came out amazing! The only downsides (which were completely out of his control) were that we couldn’t take beach picks because of the massive mounds of seaweed on the beach during the time of year we went (late April) and that we had to cut the photo shoot short due to heat. Overall, we had a great experience and we highly recommend Santiago!!! :)

Tulum photo tour with Santiago Arenas

Santiago was amazing! Very communicative prior to meeting up, picked us up at our hotel and took my boyfriend and I to a lot of the beautiful sites in Tulum to take photos. He made the experience really fun and the photos turned out great! We highly recommend doing a photo tour with him when you’re visiting Tulum! 🤩

Tulum photo tour experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Tulum photo tour experience cost?

+

Prices start at $450 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tulum photo tour experience take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Tulum photo tour experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tulum photo tour experience?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tulum photo tour experience suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Tulum photo tour experience?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tulum photo tour experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

+

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
