    False Description

This isnt what it is portrayed as. It's portrayed as cenotes that are underwater in the description and mentions a potential itinerary of the more well known cenote. We would have been taken to two local cenote that were free or a few bucks to get in and nowhere near the same experience as the more well known ones indicated in the description if I didn't step in and ask whether we would have been going to the more prestigious ones. He called his boss and they agreed to take us and that's when I understood their plan. They planned to go to local ones since they could then pocket the money required to pay for the more well known cenote at the customers' disadvantage. The guide was nice and knowledgeable but he was drinking albeit trying to hide it throughout the day. Not terrible if he wasn't also driving us to the cenote we had to negotiate to go on. I advise you clearly agree on the cenote you are going on before you start the day so you don't get wrong end of a bad deal where they try to play games so they can pocket the money. I'd steer clwar and try somewhere else. For the price, I would have expected a better experience and the lack of honesty was a bad representation on the owner and company.

Response from the operator: we done 3 cenotes grand cenote, escondido then dos ojos. 1. we advise you that will be do with you the grand cenote, cristal and escondido 2. after the second cenote you requested to visit dos ojos then we take you to dos ojos. so we take you to 3 cenotes, all the cenotes are beautiful and different, however we explain you that grand cenote and dos ojos are very similar they do have same featuring, that's why we went to grand cenote, and same entrance price, then after the second cenote you requested to visit dos ojos so we went to dos ojos, of course the guide need to advise to the office your request, you went back to office and you did not say anything about this, only you said that you want the guide send you your pics but he loss his phone so that's why may you upset, this tour was four months ago. in this false review you only write what you thinking from your head and sorry if you don't like it cause you was very lucky

Dos Ochos Cenote and Jungle e-bikes

The cenotes were absolutely gorgeous and we had a great time riding e-bikes. However, this was not an 8 hour trip! It was only 3 hours. The lunch was a pork sub sandwich, a few pork skins and water which was delicious, but not enough food. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. We followed his truck during the jungle, which I thought was going to be a tour. The cenotes, he did give a tour. Overall, we loved the experience- but thought $170 was too pricey for only 3 hours when we thought we were getting 8.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
