Experience Overall: Asi Asi/ Poco a Poco

Cons: I could have saved a lot of money and driven myself to the ruins. I paid 145.00 online and then paid 132.00 USD at the bus for "taxes' then at every venue I paid "taxes" again for adult tickets only. I drove myself to playadelcar then waited 20 minutes past the pickup time for a van driver in front of congo bongo. This driver took me exactly 2 blocks over to a larger tour bus. Not sure why I was charged full price when I drove myself to the bus. When I calmly expressed concern about being charged for things that were not specified up front I was labeled "difficult". Hispanic tour guests had a better experience than the non spanish speaking guests- better hispitality, kinder treatment which is unfortunate. The buffet lunch was not appetizing to my kids and was okay for me except there weren't enough non pork options. 450 pesos for 4 non alcoholic drinks optional during buffet so bring extra cash. I enjoyed the Mayan blended fruit drinks more than the food. Pros: Daniel was very informative and did a great job sharing "new" historic and cultural details regarding all the sites in both English and Spanish. The Mayan history and traditions are fascinating and everyone in the world need to visit the ruins and explore the beautiful mexan culture. We even met a Mayan shaman at the buffet lunch location. The driver brought us safely to and fro without any mishaps and the tour van was very comfortable. 5th Avenue was wonderful at night. We stayed out until almost 10:30 that night enjoying live music and so many food and shopping venues along this pedestrian outlet that felt like Bourbon Street and 34th Street combined.

    horrible experience

What a horrible experience! the places included are really beautiful but trhey gave 1h to see each place and it’s definitely not enough, especially for Coba considering it’s size! we had to literally run coze the trail is 4 km and you have to do it in less then 1h !! The guide was WORST GUIDE I have ever met, he name is Edmundo in case you will take a tour and meet him ! zero information about places or mayan culture, literally nothing !!! he only keep saying that he is a hired guide, he does not work with any of tour sellers and he does not care! he was stressed himself and stressing all passengers. When I tried to ask any information questions he was super rude and seemed to be very irritated! Avoid !!!

    Would not recommend

There your was ok as we were able to go around Mexico and see different things but the tour guides were not helpful. They did not translate everything for us and had a lot of attitudes if we asked questions. One of the other couples that went from USA translated for us. The day was also very hot and it involved a lot of walking. Would not do it again or recommend.

Response from the operator: Gracias por dejar tu opinión, si siempre insistimos a los pasajeros con que dejen su opinión, es para detectar este tipo de situaciones, ya estamos trabajando en ello, muchas gracias!

Everything went as mentioned, we were searched at the hotel and toured the 4 destinations, it is the best price I found and I really have no complaints, we had a great time.

Response from the operator: Gracias por dejar tu opinión, que le hayan pasado bien, nos pone super contentos a nosotros. Los esperamos para más aventuras.

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
