About this experience

Manta Point is one of the best places in Bali to encounter Reef Manta Rays in their natural habitat. Watching these gentle giants glide above cleaning stations is often the highlight of a visitor's trip to Bali. Unlike many introductory diving programs conducted in shallow lagoons, this experience takes place at Nusa Penida, one of Indonesia's most famous marine destinations. Under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor, first-time divers can safely experience coral reefs, tropical marine life, and unforgettable manta ray encounters. Our dive boat departs directly from Sanur, providing fast and comfortable access to Nusa Penida's world-famous dive sites. Small groups and personalized supervision ensure a safe and enjoyable introduction to scuba diving.

Bali diving Indonesia

I have always wanted to try scuba diving, and I’m sure I couldn’t have chosen a better dive center than Zero Gravity Diving Bali, or a better location than Bali. From the very beginning, everything was perfect – from the initial consultations and advice on what would be best for a complete beginner, to helping me choose the right locations for my first dives and later enrolling in the PADI Open Water course. I decided to do my first dives in Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan – and it was absolutely the right choice! The dive sites are phenomenal, especially Manta Point, where I had the opportunity to see magnificent manta rays up close. The drift diving in Nusa Lembongan was also an incredible experience. Thrilled with the entire experience and the professionalism of the whole team at Zero Gravity Diving Bali – especially my instructor John – I decided to complete the PADI Open Water Diver course as well. It was truly a fantastic experience that I will remember for a long time. I sincerely hope I will have the opportunity to dive in Bali again with Zero Gravity Diving Bali!

Response from the operator: Dear Vedran, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing Zero Gravity Diving Bali for your first scuba diving experience. 🙏😊 We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed diving in Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. Seeing manta rays at Manta Point and experiencing the famous drift dives are truly special highlights of diving in Bali. It also means a lot to us that you decided to continue your journey with the PADI Open Water Diver course. Helping new divers discover the underwater world of Bali is something we truly love. Thank you again for diving with us, and we hope to welcome you back for more scuba diving adventures in Bali in the future. 🤿 Warm regards, Zero Gravity Diving Team

Diving with Zero gravity in Bali

Today on my birthday i went with my best friends diving to Nusa Penida (Crystal bay and Manta point). It was the best day ever, because of Branko and his guys who helped us to enjoy every moment of this day. We felt safe at the same time wile looking at the beutiful fishes, mantas and turtles also...i don't have to say it was the birthday i will never forget...so you people do not forget to go diving with them if you ever come to Bali...ever if never did go under water, that is the chance you must take.

Response from the operator: Dear Ana, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with Zero Gravity Diving... We are happy to read that you enjoyed diving with us. Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.

How much does Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers cost?

+

Prices start at $244 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.

Is Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Try Diving at Manta Point Nusa Penida for non-certified divers start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kuta?

+

On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Bali 5 Days and 4 Nights Private Tour - Best and Famous Site. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kuta?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kuta?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
