What you get

    About this experience

Step into the heart of Puglia’s heritage with a private, bespoke escape to the UNESCO-listed town of Alberobello. This curated experience blends the architectural wonder of the iconic trulli with the authentic flavors of a premier organic winery. As your Travel Designer, I have orchestrated a day that moves away from the crowds, focusing on sustainable luxury and the slow-living philosophy of the Itria Valley. Wander through the whitewashed stone streets with a focus on the Rione Aia Piccola — the most authentic and quietest district of the town. Visit a family-run organic estate where tradition meets sustainability. You will explore the vineyards and learn about the "bio" philosophy that makes Puglian wines unique. Enjoy a private, guided tasting of premium organic wines (such as Primitivo and Susumaniello), paired with zero-mile local appetizers, artisan cheeses, and cold cuts.

    What you'll see and do

    1. Alberobello

Your private guide and drver will pick you up at your hotel and bring you to discover one of the most unusaul places in Apulia - Alberobello. There is something extraordinary and even fabulous in this small town located far away from the crowded tourist routes. This feature distinguishes it from the many settlements densely scattered throughout the south of Italy, and makes it a real diamond, lost in the countryside. The old narrow streets are built up with small snow–white houses with high conical roofs made of limestone stones - these are the famous trulli. Enjoy amazing panorama of local nature during your way to Alberobello and learn many interesting facts about Apulia from your guide. After guided tour in one of the most beautiful places in the world you will be welcomed in one typical and authentic Apulian winery where you will have wine tasting with local fresh food: olive oil, olives, cold cuts, cheeses and seasonal vegetables.

    Very good experience.

It was an experience that I provide very good information about the history, culture and current reality of the Trulli, its way of construction and the current state of this type of housing that today stand and allow its inhabitants to live

Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bari.

How much does Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting cost?

    +

Prices start at $675 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bari usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bari is not rushed.

Is Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Bari, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bari can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bari and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Trulli & Terroir: Private Alberobello Journey & Wine Tasting start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bari within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bari?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bari experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bari’s Ultimate Street Food Tour - Small Group by Do Eat Better, Boat Tour of the Polignano a Mare Coast with Aperitif, Bari Vecchia Group Tour in Italian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bari?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bari?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
