    2. Parrocchia Sant'Antonio di Padova

The Church of Sant'Antonio is a Greek cross church located at the top of the Monti district, unique in its kind because it is entirely made of trulli. The construction is quite recent, it was built in 1927. The contrast between the northern slope of Largo Martellotta, "new" and more "advanced" than the southern slope, entirely made of trulli, was still very much felt at the time.

    Informative and Fun Tour!

Claudio from Pugliamica was so friendly and prompt as he drove us between Monopoli and Alberobello both ways, which was so helpful for us since we hadn’t rented a car. He told us some facts about what we were passing on the way too! The Alberobello tour itself was excellent, with a really funny and engaging tour guide who grew up in Alberobello and was able to provide not just the architectural history of the trulli but some of the socioeconomic factors over the last 70 or so years in regards to trulli houses becoming so famous after the UNESCO Heritage destination. It was a good length of a tour with some free time after! Definitely pack water and sunscreen/sunglasses/a hat because there is very little shade in Alberobello on a sunny day!

    Terribly organised tour

Honestly disappointed by this tour. We spent more time in the modern part of Alberobello than actually walking amongst the trulli. The tour wasn’t long enough it was only a 4-5hr tour. The tour was sold as if we got to see inside them but we never went inside any. We spent ages waiting for our guide when we arrived and stood outside talking about the history rather than walking amongst them all and only got to see a few from the outside. Definitely avoid this tour!

Great experience but disappointed with Viator

The trulli houses were great to see. The guide gave us good information and showed us the best views. The tour operator was kind enough to pick us up from our B&B and drop us at the airport at a slightly higher expense. Although this trip went well, overall extremely disappointed with Viator since we had 2 last minute cancellations in one week (one for Postojna Cave and one Pompei trip from Rome).

Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bari.

How much does Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano cost?

    +

Prices start at $172 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bari usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bari is not rushed.

Is Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bari, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bari can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bari and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Trulli of Alberobello Day-Trip from Monopoli and Polignano start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bari within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bari?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bari experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bari’s Ultimate Street Food Tour - Small Group by Do Eat Better, Boat Tour of the Polignano a Mare Coast with Aperitif, Polignano a Mare: Boat Tour of the Caves - Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bari?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bari?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
