Disproportionate price!
276 euros!!! For two pieces of chocolate, a cup of tea, 3 pieces of wood and mats to slide...which would have cost 8!!!Euro for ONE HOUR if you rented them yourself.... After an hour the event was almost over anyway because it got too cold and the "snacks" were also long empty. We have done some things but unfortunately we really lack any real reference to how it comes at such an exorbitant price. The guide was very nice - but we don't pay so much money for that?..
Response from the operator: This experience did not consist of “two pieces of chocolate and a cup of tea.” You and your group were served a full selection of homemade Christmas cookies, chocolate, hot drinks, and marshmallows to roast over the campfire, all prepared and provided as part of the guided experience. These items were available throughout the event and are included in the price. In addition, this was not a self-service sled rental. You booked a fully guided winter experience, which included: A professional guide Campfire setup and firewood Prepared refreshments Mats for sledding Safety supervision Equipment and logistics Time, planning, transport, and staffing Comparing this to a self-service rental is misleading. A self-service sled rental is exactly that: no guide, no fire, no food, no setup, no safety, and no experience — just a mat. The event ended after about one hour because it was very cold, something clearly stated in the activity description. This is standard for winter outdoor experiences, especially when guests are not dressed for prolonged exposure. Ending earlier for comfort and safety is responsible guiding, not a failure of service. Calling the price “exorbitant” while ignoring everything that was provided reflects a highly entitled and unrealistic view of what a guided Arctic winter experience actually involves. You did not book a kiosk visit — you booked a curated outdoor experience with staff, equipment, food, fire, and supervision. Your guide did their job well, the experience was delivered as advertised, and all services were provided. It is disappointing that instead of acknowledging this, you chose to describe it in a way that simply does not reflect reality. We stand fully by the value and quality of this experience.

+

How far in advance should I book Tromsø Sledding and Bonfire Experience with Snacks?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tromso?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tromso?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
