Fun fishing excursion-great for families!
Our adult family participated in this luxury fishing trip with very personable Kenneth and Sachi. They were fantastic and the boat was extremely stable, comfortable, and also spotlessly clean. I took Bonine before the trip, but don't think it was necessary as the sailing was very smooth. Kenneth is great and changes locations swiftly if worthy fish aren't being caught. He is also very helpful to anyone who needs assistance with fishing. My adult son had the success of catching a great Codfish. The perk of catching a fish means all the guests on the boat get fresh fish added to their already delicious vegetable soup and bread that Sachi prepares at the end. We were fortunate to have absolutely perfect warm, sunny weather on our trip in July, but my suspicion is that Kenneth and Sachi make the trip wonderful even on a cold, rainy day. My only recommendation that I'd give for improvement is to extend the trip to 4 hours instead of 3. It is so fun that another hour would give a bit more fishing time and also not make the soup eating be so rushed at the end. I consider this a "must do" activity if in the Svolvaer area and you're interested in sailing and fishing. It is quite enjoyable!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing a detailed review of your experience! We truly value your recommendation and will take it into consideration. We are glad to hear that you had such a great experience!

10/10 Experience
My dad and I booked the fishing trip with World Sea Explorers and loved it so much that we decided to book the Midnight Sail for the very next day. We stayed 2 hours away from where the yacht is docked but it was definitely worth the drive. Kenneth and Sachi (the crew) were amazing hosts. They care so deeply for the ocean and its wildlife and truly give you a fantastic insight into their Norwegian life. Being on the yacht itself is a treat! It is truly luxurious. This was definitely the highlight of our trip in Lofoten. Don’t hesitate, it is truly worth it.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Daniela! The two of you were such a pleasure to have onboard. We truly appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and recommending us!

Amazing deep sea fishing trip
The crew was really nice, friendly and helpful. The crew took kids well into consideration, in our case they treated them like adults and gave them the same equipment. This experience was amazing. We got lots of fish, everyone caught at least one fish. We can highly recommend this trip! Amazing view, luxury boat, and, above all, friendly and competent captain and crew!
Response from the operator: We are thrilled that your family had a great experience on our fishing trip! Thank you so much for recommending us!

Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tromso.
How much does Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip cost?
+
Prices start at $2950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tromso usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tromso is not rushed.
Is Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tromso, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tromso can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tromso and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tromsø Small Group Sea-to-Table Fishing Trip start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tromso within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tromso?
+
On Outty we rank every Tromso experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights Minibus Chase from Tromsø with Chasing Lights, Northern Lights Big Bus Chase with Chasing Lights, Tromsø Northern Lights Chase We Go Where The Lights Appear. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tromso?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tromso?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
