    Top Quality and Excellent Service!

Just got home from a magical trip to Amalfi coast. Had Amalfi Driving Tours do roundtrip airport transfers, a stop in Pompeii, and an additional transport from Amalfi to Sorrento. Valerio and his entire team were so professional and responsive. Top quality cars and service! Fair prices and extremely reliable (even when I had last minute changes he made it all work!). I HIGHLY recommend them!

    Great Driving Experience with Valerio

We hired Valerio to take us from the Naples train station to Positano and then return from Positano to Naples Airport. He was very easy to communicate and coordinate with in advance of our trip with clear pricing and expectations. Valerio was waiting for us as soon as we got off the train, helped us with luggage, and ensured we were comfortable in the Mercedes sprinter van before taking off. He was very friendly and engaging and did a great job pointing out the scenery and explaining the historical significance of what we were seeing from the vehicle. He is a very professional driver and there is a 0% chance I would want to drive the roads/park on the Amalfi coast in my own vehicle, much less a rental car. We had an early flight out of Naples so needed a 3:30 am pickup from our town near Positano - Valerio arrived early and provided another smooth, stress-free journey. I would highly recommend he and his team to anyone traveling south of Rome, cancelling our rental car and hiring him was the best decision we made.

Response from the operator: Hello And thank you very much for this wonderful review.

DON’T LOOK ELSEWHERE YOU’VE FOUND THE RIGHT COMPANY!!!!

Valerio is the BEST tour guide!!! What a time we have had exploring southern Italy. We started on an hour bullet train from Rome to Naples to meet him for a private tour of the coast. Our first stop was to explore the colorful villages of Positano•Amalfi Coast, Italy and do some shopping. Absolutely breathtaking. We stopped in Sorrento for some beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea, a sweet taste of the south. We had a brief exploration of olive and lemon groves on the drive and were able to do some shopping. Valerio made reservations for us at a popular pizza spot in Pompeii were we ate the best pizza we had ever had. After an amazing lunch we toured the Pompeii Ruins, one of the most archeological places in the world. The kids absolutely loved this tour and said it was their favorite of the trip by far. We all learned so much about this ancient city. We finished the tour in Naples driving through the city where we stopped to do a little shopping. We are so grateful for Valerio We could have never covered so much on our own. I still can’t believe we were able to plan this tour last minute with a days notice. Thank you Valerio and Amalfi Driving Tours. We will never forget all the memories we created because of you!!

Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii cost?

    +

Prices start at $600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Transfer From Naples To Sorrento or Amalfi Coast with stop in Pompeii start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
