    Luigi the driver dude

Luigi has been the best driver that. Have had in all of Europe. He is very polite and ensured that our needs were met with a smile. He is very knowledgeable with the area. He even made a slight detour to show us parts of the town he was from. He went above and beyond expectations.

Professional, friendly and insightful! Wonderful experience!!!

Giovanni provided excellent service on our private transfer from Sorrento to Naples in the summer 2023. He was very professional and also friendly and kind. As we drove through scenic routes, Giovanni ensured we had the best experience! He offered me and my family/friends water, and made sure we were comfortable through the entirety of the ride. His knowledge about the history and culture made for great conversation and connection, and ensured we arrived safely to our destination. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to booking with him again for my next visit! Grazie Mille Giovanni!

    Great service

Gerardo was a great driver. He educated me on the area as we drove to Sorrento. I will definitely use this service when I return in December.

Best way to get from Naples airport Sorrento

After reading a lot about the best way to get from Naples airport to Sorrento, I can now confirm, having just done it, that the best way to travel is by bus, using Curreri Viaggi. It is air conditioned and only costs €10. You can sit back and enjoy the beautiful views on your journey. When you walk out of the airport, it will not be clear where to go - just walk straight ahead (across a little road and a lot of traffic) for about 250 metres and then look/turn right and you will see the bus station. You can pay the bus driver on board. It only takes a bit less than an hour and a half to get there. While you can book online, we didn't in case our flight was delayed (we were delayed by 3 hours) and we had no problem getting on. However, on the way back, we did book online - it was recommended to allow 5 hours to get to the airport and while that seems excessive, it is a good idea in case traffic is bad. We had plenty of time when we did the return journey and if, you, like us, arrive too early then have a coffee in the little OUTSIDE café right by the arrivals doors. Much nicer than sitting in the busy airport. Taxis are way too expensive and drivers are mad in Italy. DO NOT TAKE THE TRAIN - it is crowded and not air conditioned, do not even consider it. So, the name of the bus company you are looking for is Curreri Viaggi!

Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa) cost?

    +

Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa) take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa)?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Transfer from Naples to Sorrento (or Viceversa) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
