Stress-Free Transfer with Great Sightseeing Stops
Joao from Kitzel Tours made our transfer from Lisbon to Porto feel like a memorable sightseeing day rather than just a drive. He planned fantastic stops in Óbidos, Nazaré, and Aveiro, giving us time to walk around and experience each place without ever feeling rushed. Joao was warm, professional, and shared interesting insights about the areas along the way. We were also traveling with our dog, and he went out of his way to make sure the trip was comfortable for all of us. The whole experience was smooth, relaxed, and thoughtfully organized. If you're traveling between Lisbon and Porto, this is a great way to do it. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Dear Friend. Thank you very much for your kind words and very happy did love our day. Hope to see again for amazing day!! Cheers João e Anastasiya.

KITZEL TOURS - BEST WAY TO SEE PORTUGAL
Over the past few years, our lawyer, business manager, cousin, and dentist with her whole family, have traveled with João or his wife Anastasia from Kitzel Tours. Everyone recommended them enthusiastically. My husband, son and I toured Portugal with João (John) for a week in September 2025, driving from Lisbon to Porto stopping to see crusader castles and up the Duro Valley for the wine. We even watched them stomp the grapes to raucous accordion music. Since we are into our 70s and 80s, João interviewed us by phone before designing daily tours. His sense of timing to avoid the worst crowds, his flexibility, rearranging schedules on the fly to accommodate us, his sense of humor, and his encyclopedic knowledge were extraordinary. We asked him to pick authentic local restaurants, rather than tourist-oriented ones and had delicious, reasonably priced meals in rooms where we were the only foreigners. And when driving back from Porto to Lisbon, I developed a cough, he stopped in Tomar, found a pharmacy open on Sunday, and took us to a little local restaurant where I had one of the best meals of my life. Traveling with Kitzel for ourselves, families, and friends proved to be the best way to fully experience Portugal
Response from the operator: Dear friends!! Thank you very much for the amazing review and support. We did love our 8 days on tour together and we hope to see you again !!! Best regards. Joao and Anastasia

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Transfer from Lisbon to Porto private tour and guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
