    Fun, Relaxed, and Memorable Experience

We had such a great time at this wine tasting and cooking class. Jason, the son of the vineyard owners, was fantastic. Be ready for his deadpan humor. Once you catch on, it is hilarious. They were very accommodating. We actually showed up a day early by mistake and he still took care of us. He started with a really thorough explanation of the vineyard and Greek wines. Jason answered every question in depth and was much more informative than I expected. I would encourage anyone going to ask lots of questions. Some of the things people asked were things I never would have thought of and it made it even more interesting. We walked into the vineyard where he explained the different pruning techniques and enjoy the beautiful view. When we came back to the covered outdoor area, they had food ready for us to put together some traditional dishes like tzatziki, dolmades. Afterwards we sat down at large picnic tables for a family style meal. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was such a lovely and enjoyable day. I highly recommend it. If you are looking for a true immersive cooking class standing over a stove this is not that, but I was so happy with the experience. All of us loved it.

    Wine tour and tasting

We had a very enjoyable day but this is not a cooking class. It is about wine, wine tasting, a short cooking demo and a very nice lunch. Again it was fun. Enjoyed the wines but it is not a cooking class.

    A feast for your palette!

The food was amazing,, we learned some cooking techniques and a lot about the vineyard and wine making in Greece. A family owned winery. With the visit. Use Google maps, Apple Maps got us lost and we were 15 minutes late.

    Poor communication

Attempted to contact via email and phone to arrange pickup at the port. No answer. Called viator customer service and they called several times as well. No answer. We didn’t go because we didn’t know how to get there. Disappointed

Response from the operator: We have been contacted by Viator and we provided all the needed details to them, which they should have passed back to you. We have sent 2 emails later on waiting in order to arrange the transfers but we got no reply. It was also possible to contact us directly over the chat, email or phone. I don't think is fair to rate us with 1 star for an event you did not participate when we only have 5 star reviews for all other participants. Sorry you couldn't make it.

Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.

How much does Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes cost?

    +

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.

Is Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Traditional Greek COOKING class and Wine Tasting in Rhodes start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rhodes?

    +

On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rhodes?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rhodes?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
