Must do cooking adventure in Hoi An
Had an absolute blast from start to finish. From the pickup in Da Nang to wandering through the local markets filled with fresh produce, every moment was memorable. The boat ride through the coconut forest and a bit of crab fishing made the experience even more special. The cooking class itself was fantastic, the dishes were delicious (got to take some home cause I couldn't eat everything), and I can’t wait to recreate them at home. Highly recommend this experience.
Response from the operator: thanks much for your good review, Rebecca much appreciated for this

Fantastic. Highly recommended. One issue with third-party booking site.
This was a fantastic experience. The cooking part was excellent, with great guidance, educational techniques, great support from multiple people for young kids, great fun, and delicious food! (and lots of it). And managed dietary issues well too. But before the cooking part there was a pick-up from the hotel, a view of local areas, a trip to the market, a ride on the boat, a sojourn on the basket boats (which was a pleasant surprise for us and a tourist experience in itself) - some welcome drinks and foot and shoulder massges. The day was fun throughout. Our guide Hung was incredible with knowledge sharing, helpfulness and an incredibly pleasant and helpful attitude. We booked through Klook and after we didn't hear from Sabirama to confirm pick-up I called them and they didn't have a record of the booking. This was one of multiple issues we had with the third-party site (not Sabirama). Sabirama were then responsive and helpful when we spoke, finding a mutually convenient time for us. Someone had mentioned some of the activities felt a bit rushed, but we felt it was perfect how much they fit in. The market was the only thing that was shorter than expected, but it didn't feel too short at all. Highly recommended.

Great experience!
The experience is definitely worth the price! From the local market tour and transfers to riding the coconut boat, followed by a relaxing massage and cooking class, every moment was well spent. The staff and our tour guide/chef, Trương Thị Quý Hưng, were incredibly nice and friendly. I really enjoyed the cooking class today and would highly recommend this tour to my family and friends!
Response from the operator: thanks much for your good review, Sarahi much appreciated for this

Why this scores 87
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.
How much does Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hoi An is not rushed.
Is Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 399 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour?
+
Around 140 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Traditional Cooking Class with Basket Boat Ride and market Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hoi An?
+
On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HOI AN Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands PRIVATE TOUR, Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Cooking Class Hoi An:Local Market, Basket Boat, Fishing & Cooking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hoi An?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
