Outskirts of Vilnius
Definitely worth seeing the countryside and places outside of Vilnius. Lithuania filled with hx and beauty. Only thing that wouldn’t been better is having a guide to go in depth about the places we saw. Still worth it.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Anthony, for your review and for joining our tour! We’re very glad you enjoyed discovering the countryside, history, and beauty beyond Vilnius. We also truly appreciate your feedback regarding the level of detail provided by the guide — it is very helpful to us and something we will take into consideration as we continue improving our tours. We hope you left Lithuania with many great memories!

Another very good experience with Viator
Ms Jurate was wonderful, a well of information on all subjects (historical, political…), we had a private tour on a beautiful day. she gave me the desire to come back (in the summer). The travel arrangements were comfortable and Ms Jurate is a very good driver, we felt very sure

Not what we expected. Disappointing overall.
Try to request a top rated guide. We found storytelling to be a weak point and as that was the most critical driver to our enjoyment of the tour, it made for a disappointing experience overall. We also found the day and schedule a bit rushed especially in Kaunas where a bit of free time to wander would have been great. Our guide joined us for lunch too, which was unexpected. The vehicle was a bit banged up, and that was disconcerting given the expressway drives and slick roads in winter.
Response from the operator: eedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Storytelling and historical context are indeed essential elements of this tour, and we regret that this aspect felt weak for you. Your comment has been taken seriously, and we will be reinforcing our internal standards to ensure that guides assigned to long, history-focused itineraries consistently deliver engaging and in-depth narration. Regarding the pace of the day, this itinerary does involve covering several destinations in one tour, but we fully understand your point about Kaunas benefiting from more free time. We will review the timing to see where the schedule can be adjusted to allow guests more flexibility and opportunity to explore independently. We also apologize if the guide joining for lunch felt uncomfortable or unexpected — this is not intended to intrude on guests’ personal time, and we will clarify this practice with our team to better respect guest preferences. Concerning the vehicle, safety is our top priority. While all vehicles used meet legal and technical requirements, we understand that appearance and comfort are important for peace of mind, especially in winter conditions. Your comment has been forwarded for review to ensure our transport standards fully align with guest expectations. We truly appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us improve. We regret that this tour fell short for you and thank you again for sharing your experience.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vilnius.
How much does Tour out of Vilnius: Paneriai holocaust park, Trakai, Kaunas cost?
+
Prices start at $296 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vilnius usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour out of Vilnius: Paneriai holocaust park, Trakai, Kaunas take?
+

Is Tour out of Vilnius: Paneriai holocaust park, Trakai, Kaunas worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vilnius, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour out of Vilnius: Paneriai holocaust park, Trakai, Kaunas?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tour out of Vilnius: Paneriai holocaust park, Trakai, Kaunas suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book Tour out of Vilnius: Paneriai holocaust park, Trakai, Kaunas?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vilnius can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vilnius and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour out of Vilnius: Paneriai holocaust park, Trakai, Kaunas start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vilnius within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vilnius?
+
On Outty we rank every Vilnius experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Admission Ticket at Auto Museum Vilnius, Regular walking tour of Soviet Vilnius, Regular walking tour of Jewish Vilnius. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vilnius?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vilnius?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
