Incredible way to experience more of Sicily

Amazing private tour experience! The wine tasting is the draw. Though our favorite parts were seeing the countryside beforehand. The gorge and natural swimming pools were so cool to see. We would have never to known to go there if it wasn’t for this tour. Giancarlo was a fantastic tour guide! Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Always a pleasure! Come back soon, I'll be waiting for you in Sicily!

    Awesome way to see Sicily!

Giancarlo was great and we had a fantastic day at the Alacantra Gorge, Castiglione de Sicilia, and Gambino Vineyards!

Response from the operator: Thank you, it was nice to spend a day with you and introduce you to the area where I live.

    A really good day trip

This is a really nice day trip! We were picked up at our accommodation even though it is not on the list. It was just our company so we got all the attention and could hear well. The host was great, nice and spoke good English. He was also very helpful, even took us to a big grocery store on the way home. The host also showed herbs, fruits and vegetables growing wild. The wine and charcuterie tray served at the vineyard was very good. We had a wonderful day.

Response from the operator: Tack tjejer, det var ett sant nöje att följa med er på utflykt, kom tillbaka snart, jag väntar på er!

    Informative, scenic, delicious.

We had good weather, but it would not have been quite as fun without it. We spent a good deal of time outside. The sites were gorgeous and unique, the food and wines were delicious. The winery is a quasi-family run operation with a great spread for lunch. Guides’ English was good and responded to questions. Highly recommended if you want more than climbing Etna.

    Great trip

I like the secret route, exploring and learning the plants and fruits. Friendly and nice introduction of the cities and cleared a lot of Italian myth for me.

Response from the operator: Thank you. Come back when you like. Arrivederci

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Taormina.

How much does Tour of the Etna cellars, typical lunch and wine tasting cost?

    +

Prices start at $240 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Taormina usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour of the Etna cellars, typical lunch and wine tasting take?

    +

Is Tour of the Etna cellars, typical lunch and wine tasting worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Taormina, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour of the Etna cellars, typical lunch and wine tasting?

Is Tour of the Etna cellars, typical lunch and wine tasting suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Taormina and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Taormina?

    +

On Outty we rank every Taormina experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include COOKING CLASS in Taormina at Chef Massimo HOUSE!!, Sea View Sicilian Cooking Class & Taormina Market with Chef Mimmo, Mount Etna Half-Day Small Group Tour from Taormina. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Taormina?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Taormina?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
