The driver will be holding a sign with you or your party’s name on it. The driver will drive safely in every destinations telling you historical information so you can have a better comprehension about culture and tradition of the places, waiting for you and taking care of you and your stuff while you enjoy the places. Not only, the driver will give you assistance, suggestions and help for anything you need so you can spend a really good day relaxing and enjoying wiht fun! The tour usually lasts 8 hours but we are flexible for any issue that we can find on the way (enviromental/traffic/accidents). If you want to have lunch during the tour please discuss about it with the driver at the beginning of the tour so he can give you good suggestions and rearrange the schedules. Thank you

What you'll see and do
See Amalfi Coast Official
Mt. Vesuvius This itinerary is from the starting point from everywhere in Naples Area, Amalfi Coast, Salerno Area (port/hotel/train station). You will be going up 3000 feet attitude on the volcano and the driver will assist you in purchasing the tickers. Once bought, you can start your adventure climbing Mt Vesuvius to the top. You will have approx 90min to explore this volcano. Later we will drive to Sorrento in about 60 minutes. Along the way there will be a couple of stops where you can take pictures of the spectacular panoramic views of the coast. You will have approx 60 minutes to explore. Lunch break: The driver will make suggestions early in the morning as you requested previously. Once a decision has been made the driver will make reservations if need so. Once done we proceed to Pompeii and the drive will take about 60 minutes. You will have approx two hours to explore this ruin. The drive from Pompeii to Mt Vesuvius is about 40 minutes. Driver will return back to the pick up location or others agreed upon. Important Note Regarding itinerary PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE RESERVE ALL RIGHTS TO CHANGE THE ORDER OF ITINERARY IF NECESSARY AT OUR DISCRETION DUE TO NATURAL CAUSES (ENVIRONMENTAL/TRAFFIC/ACCIDENTS) OR POLITICAL REASONS (STRIKES/PROTEST). Captivating Carmine!
When the tours that American Express Travel offered did not fit into our schedule, an agent suggested a private tour and highly recommended Carmine Foggia. How grateful we were/are that we took that recommendation! One tour for us turned into several exceptional excursions with him...Naples, Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii, Sorrento and all along the Amalfi Coast - fantastico! For anyone that knows the roads to any of the places - then you know how difficult the windy roads are to the volcano or along the coast! The Italians are in a rush and the terrified tourists are terribly slow with every turn - making travel extremely nerve racking. But NOT with Carmine - he was absolutely incredible navigating the routes and we were at ease to really experience the ride. And what rides they were - filled with delightful conversation where he shared his knowledge, history, humor and passions as well as stops along the way to take the best photos. Of course, we went to all the tourists spots, but he also showed us the secret places not found on regular tours and wonderful suggestions for restaurants off the beaten tourist path. We are grateful that while only having three days in the area - we not only experienced quite a lot, but now crave to return again. It is no wonder he is a second generation tour - de force - guide and would certainly make his father proud of the exceptional service he offers his clients and the memories they take with them home. Outstanding tour and customer service
My first trip to Italy and this company ViaAmalfi was incredible. We were picked up on time from the train station and swift away to Mt. Vesuvius. We hiked to the top of the crater, which was a fairly easy hike. The views are outstanding. The next stop was Sorrento, where we had lunch on the pizazza, and walked around the narrow streets for a little shopping. The last stop was Pompeii. Incredible, if I haven’t already said that. Our tour guide, was friendly, patient and very, very knowledge and answered all our questions. Perfect day out with ViaAmalfi.
