1. Medellin

2. Plaza Botero

   Emerged as part of the transformation that took place in the downtown area of Medellín and in the Museo de Antioquia at the beginning of the 21st Century. Its construction entailed tearing down an entire block of buildings in order to recover public space for Medellin’s citizens. Artist Fernando Botero donated the 23 sculptors and the Plaza bearing his name is his largest open air museum.

3. Parque de la Luces

   Takes its name in homage to the Cuban engineer Francisco Javier Cisneros, precursor of the Antioquia Railroad. It is located between the EPM Library, the Vásquez and Carré Buildings and the old Railway Station. In 2002 it was remodeled and since then presents its current appearance. This old square, known as square of Guayaquil, was one of the busiest places in the city, a space where there were different manifestations of the life of Medellin, because the square became the “site of everything” there you could buy, sell and trade what people needed, which caused all people regardless of class or social strata to frequent their spaces.

4. Centro Administrativo La Alpujarra

   (Officially José María Córdova Administrative Center) is an urban complex of buildings from where the Departmental governments of Antioquia and Municipal de Medellín are administered. There, they sit in a large square crowned by the work "Monument to the Race" by sculptor Rodrigo Arenas Betancur, the governor of the department of Antioquia and the Departmental Assembly, as well as the Mayor's Office and the Council of Medellín.

5. Martín Emilio Cochise Rodríguez, in honor of Cochise historic Colombian cyclist, has taken the great figures of the moment such as Fernando Gaviria, Juan Esteban Arango, Juliana Gaviria and Fabián Puerta, among others.

6. Salon Malaga

   It is possible to live the past of that city of trams, mules and pianolas. A place full of history and charm.
