Thankful for Unexpected Surprises
We were beyond blessed to connect with Stefano for a ride to Rome and Back to port for our cruise excursion. I was stuck with a tour to get to and NO TRAIN! We found Stefano and he surpassed all expectations! What would have been a 2 hour train ride turned into a guided tour with arrival in less than 1.5 hours. He included stops at St. Paul’s Basilica and showed us the pyramid tomb that we would never have seen. After our morning ancient ruins and Colosseum tour he shuttled us to the second half of the day at the Vatican and then around Rome to all the tourist hot spots! All the while sharing history and personal stories! We were back to the ship with time to spare. He was PHENOMENAL! This day would have been a total loss without him- he saved the day and honestly exceeded our expectations! Stefano is the BEST!!! Not only was the service exceptional, the pricing was very reasonable. It was worth 10 times what we paid!
Response from the operator: Dear Karen, Thank you so much for your wonderful words and for sharing your experience during your day in Rome. I'm truly happy that I was able to transform an unexpected event—no train and a tour to get to—into a pleasant, peaceful journey filled with discoveries. Accompanying you through the Basilica of St. Paul, the Pyramid of Cestius, the archaeological area, the Colosseum, the Vatican, and the city's iconic sites was a true pleasure, as was sharing history, curiosities, and a few personal anecdotes with you along the way. Knowing that a day that was at risk of being wasted has transformed into a memorable experience fills me with satisfaction. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and travel spirit made everything even more beautiful. Thank you for appreciating the organization, punctuality, and value of the service. Your kind words are a precious gift. I wish you wonderful travels and hope to see you again soon in Rome! Best regards, Stefano

Stefano provided the BEST experience to see and enjoy Rome!
Stefano was the best! He drove us from our cruise port, all around Rome, brought us to Ristorante Campo de Fiori for lunch where we had the BEST pasta I have ever had, took us to a grocer store to buy olive oil and cheese to bring home, we saw all the sights, and brought us back to our cruise port. Stefano did all this amazing sightseeing all while providing us with history of all the places as we went. I would definitely recommend him for the best tour and experience in Rome! Ask for Stefano, you won’t be disappointed!
Response from the operator: Accompanying you from Civitavecchia to Rome and sharing such an intense day was a true pleasure. I'm happy you enjoyed every moment: from the city's iconic sights to the stories that accompany them, to lunch in Campo de' Fiori with that pasta dish that—I admit—always wins everyone over. I'm also pleased to hear you enjoyed the stop at the supermarket to pick up olive oil and cheeses to take home: it's small touches that make a tour truly personal. Thank you for your trust, for your company, and for the wonderful words. I hope to see you again soon for new discoveries in the Eternal City. Kind regards,

The best driver
I highly recommend our driver, Stefano, with whom we had the pleasure of spending time in Rome. Stefano is a great driver and, above all, a professional who showed us Rome from a completely different perspective. Thank you again for the time we spent together.
Response from the operator: It was a real pleasure spending time with you in Rome and showing you the city from a different, more authentic and personal perspective. Knowing that you appreciated both the guide and the quality of the service makes me truly happy. Thank you again for your trust and your kind words. I hope to see you again soon for new discoveries in the Eternal City. Kind regards

Stephano best tour guide for Rome ever.
We were in a taxi heading to the train stain and our driver mentioned about her friend that does the private tours. So we chose to do it instead which turned out to be the best thing ever. Stephano was absolutely fantastic. We saw and did more than we would’ve ever done on our own. Stephano took us everywhere and our lunch was one I will never forget. It was fantastic. Well worth the money spent, and we will ask for him over and over again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review. I'm so happy that the private minivan tour made your day in Rome so special. Accompanying you to the city's most iconic sights and sharing an unforgettable lunch with you was a true pleasure. Your enthusiasm and kindness made everything even more beautiful. Knowing that you would do the experience again and choose me again is the greatest satisfaction for me. I send you my warmest regards and best wishes for your future travels. Rome always awaits you.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Bracciano.
How much does Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan cost?
+
Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Bracciano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Bracciano is not rushed.
Is Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 90 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Lake Bracciano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan?
+
Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Bracciano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Bracciano and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour in Rome in a private licensed minivan start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Bracciano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Bracciano?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Bracciano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Civitavecchia Shore Excursion: Best of Rome Private Tour, Food Tasty and History Tour in Civitavecchia, VIP Tour of Rome (3/5/8hrs) Colosseum & Vatican Museums. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Bracciano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Bracciano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
