Mt Toubkal
The hike to Mt Toubkal is really amazing but the guides here make it so much more amazing, they provided the best service anyone could ask for. Such great kind local people and I couldn't recommend them more.

Great guides and service for our Toubkal trek
Our 2 day trek to the summit of Toubkal was a great experience and very well organized. We booked this private trek for a group of 8. Guides were great. Food was very good and we couldn’t think of a way to make this better. Highly recommend!

Toubkal Cobras - September 4-5.
This was incredible - thanks to great weather and phenomenal guides. Omar, Mustafa and Omar’s son (Serfian??). I injured my knee on the descent and Mustafa helped me make to the Refugio and then assisted with a mule ride back to Imlal. I would have made this trek without all three. And Riad Jnane was a great way to start the trek.

Imlil and Toubkal Feb/March 2025
After two nights in Marrakesh we spent one night in Imlil and two nights at Toubkal refuge. We were very lucky to summit on Sunday 02-03-25 with our amazing guide Mohammed. The weather had been pretty bad three days prior and no summit had been achieved Thursday, Friday or Saturday. An extra night for us at altitude was what we requested and returned to Imlil on the Monday morning to be welcomed back by our amazing hosts. An amazing trip made more amazing by the care and attention to detail our hosts put in to making everything just right. Many thanks to all involved at atlas and Sahara. Andy, Justin and Jim. 🙏

Toubkal Adventure
We had a wonderful few days booking a tour through Mustapha. Everything was seamless from the pick-up in Marrakesh to arriving in Imlil. We had a fantastic guide Yousef - he was knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic. The first day we headed to the mountain hut stopping for a delicious lunch about half way. We were amazed at the delicious food our cook was able to produce too. Mustapha prides himself on only using guides from the local village to Toubkal - knowledgeable, local and ensuring local people have the opportunities. The day of the ascent was a tough climb - a 4.30am start, with crampons and the altitude meant you just have to focus on one step in front of the other but we could not have been more supported by Yousef. It felt amazing to get up there for sunrise - breathtaking views. Thank you to Mustapha, Yousef and the team for an unforgettable few days.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek) cost?
+
Prices start at $195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek) take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek) suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek)?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Toubkal Ascent Trek - Atlas Mountains - 2 days (Private Trek) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
