Beyond its concrete historical and artistic value, the Cathedral Church has a value and a theological significance as a reference for the pastoral life of the whole diocese, for priests and for the lay faithful. In addition, the cathedrals have been the forge place of our Western and European culture; they were the embryo of the current universities, they anticipated welfare work and they were art workshops. Today the cathedrals are witnesses of that culture and message of transcendence and values for the people of today.

Santa María la Blanca is a temple located in the Spanish city of Toledo. Built in 1180 as a synagogue and, having functioned as such for 211 years, it was expropriated and transformed into a church as a result of the pogrom of 1391. At present the building belongs to the Catholic Church, but there is no cult in it. Good tour, but it turned out to be a full day
This turned out to be a full day tour (9-5) and not a half day. The pace was a little slow for me, feels like a half day would have been better. I think the thing that made it feel slow was that there was a single tour guide that spoke everything in Spanish then English, whereas the previous day we did the Segovia and Avila tour which with the same company, it had 2 guides at both cities and it felt like the pace was better like that. The single guide was fun and energetic and did a good job, I just feel like repeating everything twice threw off the pace. But I would still do it again.
Response from the operator: Dear Gary, Thanks for your nice words about our guide. We are happy to hear that you would do it again. This is a bilingual tour very appreciated by families of different languages allowing them to take im the sites while the second language is spoken. We were able to provide you with some free time for lunch so that it was not top rushed. We look forward to welcoming you back. Kind regards, Fun and Tickets Team

Toledo walk
Bring water good history of city but was supposed to be an English language tour but Spanish was the main language then the guide translated to English. She was very good despite this.
Response from the operator: Dear Melodye, We are happy to hear that your guide was very good. This is a bilingual tour where the same explanations are delivered in both languages independently of any of them being spoken first. We always recommend to bring water although it can be also purchased on the bus or in the city during the walk. Thank you for joining our tour. We look forward to welcoming you back in your future trips. Warm regards, Fun and Tickets Team

Smug indifference
We were excited to join this tour & I paid the $122+ for my son & I to participate. All communication said the tour begins at 9 am. We arrived at the determined spot only to be told that the bus was about to leave and that we were supposed to be there by 8:15-8:30. Nowhere in any of the communications I received mentioned this. The person behind the counter asked to see the voucher when I told them that there was nothing that told us what time to arrive. It took them a little bit to actually find it themselves. When I said I wanted a refund, they said I had to cancel 24 hours in advance. No apologies. No offer to have the bus wait for us. Just smug indifference. We have done over a dozen tours in multiple countries. In the cases where we couldn't find the group, the operator has called to direct us. In one case, we were too jetlagged & received a message to see if we were joining. We wound up rescheduling and paying for another night. For a tour operator, the lack of concern & wish to make things right means I will look closer at who is actually running the tour. Certainly will never go through this one again. The lack of professionalism for a hospitality based industry is unforgivable.
Response from the operator: Good day Randi, Check in is at 8.30 am Departure time is at 9 am. Last Monday the 6th, the tour departed at 9.10 am. We were waiting for you. We are sorry to hear that you missed the tour because of not arriving on time. We understand your disappointment, but we are not responsible for the passengers delay, and it’s not acceptable to be blamed for it. With regards, Fun and Tickets Team

Excellent guided half-day trip to Toledo
Excellent job by the team of Oscar (the guide) and Pedro (the driver). Toledo is a unique place in the history of World culture, and the half-day trip highlighted most of its important elements. The presentation of our guide was in fluent Spanish and English and was at a very high intellectual level, full of important details that made every point that we visited memorable.
Response from the operator: Dear traveler, Thank you for such a thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Toledo and that Óscar and Pedro helped make it such a memorable experience. Toledo is indeed a unique city, where centuries of history, culture, and traditions come together in a truly special way. We're especially pleased that you appreciated Óscar's explanations. Sharing the history of Toledo in both Spanish and English while keeping the tour engaging and informative is no small task, and we're glad his knowledge and attention to detail helped bring each stop along the route to life. We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to both Óscar and Pedro. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back on another tour during your next visit to Spain. Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid cost?
+
Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 332 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid?
+
Around 116 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Toledo Half-Day Tour with St Tome Church & Synagoge from Madrid start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
