Tiran is a large crescent-shaped island, located at the entrance of the Straits of Tiran, separating the Red Sea from the Gulf of Aqaba, which is more than 1,800 meters deep. To the east is an isolated lagoon with inviting crystal blue waters, with the most spectacular live corals one could ever dream of seeing. It is exclusive to the Gulf of Aqaba and is attracting all kinds of marine inhabitants. These coral reefs are formed of four groups: Gordon, Jackson, Thomas, and Woodhouse, which are separated by deep crevices. With these fascinating corals and intriguing marine life, Tiran is an ideal destination for boat trips of divers and snorkelers, not to mention its interesting historical relevance.

What you'll see and do

  1. Tiran Island

    We will pick you up from your hotel at around 8:00 am in morning and will take you to Naama Bay. Here you can hire snorkel equipment from our diving center. From there we will move to Naama bay boat jetty, where all the day trips start from. Once you are on board, it’s time to sail to Tiran Island. It takes around an hour to reach Tiran island and if you are lucky you might see dolphins on the way. An introduction from one of the guides will be given, he will show the fishes you might glimpse see, and especially the ones to be aware of as some can be very dangerous. On the way to Tiran, you will stop three times for snorkeling. At the end of the day, the boat will return to Sharm El Sheikh port. Then we will drive you back to your hotel.
