Wonderful views - a great experience

Beautiful national park. Arrived at 5.30ish, had a couple of experiments to complete (no spoilers!!) and then a coach tour of the park. We were back at the restaurant by 7ish for the evening meal and sunset. The views are spectacular! Well worth the trip just to see the sunset from a volcano!! The food and drinks were pretty good too. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. Would thoroughly recommend.

Secure way to step on vulcano

Atemberaubendes scenary. Very comforable bus, very professional and friendly guide. No physical activity at all (we hoped to walk in that landscape . Food barely eatable , children didnt eat anything exept for bread and water. It was a good bus excursion , if you like bus excursions. Supposed to be "a small group " two big Busses was our small group.once done is ok. I wouldn't repeat this overrated experience. However the National Parc is great and view is stunning.

Evening volcano trip and meal

Very comfortable coach picked us up after all pick ups the 4 coaches all met at Yaiza to swap passengers by language. Hen on to the park where we first toured volcano park making one stop where we went up to a view point. Then back to restaurant with welcome drinks and entertainment. 3 course meal took time up to sunset and shortly afterwards we departed. Coach pick up was 4pm and drop off back was 10pm so 6 hour total trip from Costa Teguise of which 2.5 hours was getting there and back. Probably best trip out of buggies, dolphin watching and volcanoes

Great way to spend an evening.

A great little evening. We were picked up by bus and travelled to the National Park where we saw 3 experiments which were fun to watch. Then there was a tour (by bus) round the park with a small stop off to see the landscape close up. We then had dinner at the restaurant atop the volcano where our dinner was cooked by the underlying volcano heat. Watching the sunset and visiting the gift shop were the last activities before leaving. Dinner was decent, consisting of salads, various meat selections with vegetables, and a dessert. Wine/ sangria were included. Depending on the number in your party, you may be sat with other people. Since you are not walking far (maximum 2 minutes) any kind of footwear/ clothing is fine. Our tour guides, especially Captain Jack, were knowledgeable and friendly.

Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.

How much does Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner cost?

+

Prices start at $84 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.

Is Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner?

+

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Timanfaya Evening Experience and Volcano Dinner start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?

+

On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatini's Show Bar, #1 thing to do PDC (Badge of Excellence), Catamaran Sailing in Lanzarote, Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lanzarote?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
