What you'll see and do
Ksar Of Ait-Ben-Haddou
The road of the Kasbahs A very nice trip that gathers history and nature at the same time, you’ll have to visit the Glaoui Kasbah and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, you will also be crossing some high mountains, the most spectacular pass in the country. At 07:am the tour starts we cross the Tichka Pass which is the highest one in the kingdom 2260 m of elevation, afterwards we leave the main road towards Telouet, a berber village situated 20 km between the mountains, and of course the road there will be stretcher but the site is worth to be visited by people looking for some cultural information; once you get there you can see some confusing sceneries since the Kasbah seems to be in ruins from outside and very luxurious from inside ,it was built during the 19th century by the wealthy and powerful Glaoui family, that was very close to the royal family at the time, it’s really reflecting the skills of the Moroccan craftsmen, and how strong that family was After this magnificent monument we start again crossing the Ounila valley; a wonderful area leading us to the second Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which was built within the 11th century by the Almoravide Commander Ali Ben Haddou ,it’s a fortified Village considered nowadays, as a world heritage and protected by the UNESCO and that serves as a location for many international movies, when we finish our tour inside, we carry on to Ouarzazate to see the Biggest movies studios in Morocco, in case you want to see where Gladiator, Cleopatra, the jewel of the Nile,.... have been made. When all the visits are done we can start back to Marrakech.

Ooh, wonderful.
Simo (film star looks) was great, and the sights were incredible - well worth the longish journey. Would genuinely recommend the tour, and Simo… who also took us to the airport in his immaculate car. With hindsight, given that lunch isn’t included (which was in the itinerary, so no surprise) we may have chosen lunch with a view, but we will try that next time! Seriously, you should do this tour!!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the sights and Simo’s service, including the airport transfer. We also appreciate your note about lunch not included as mentioned in the itinerary and we’re glad it didn’t affect your experience. We look forward to welcoming you again for another memorable Adventure Masters tour!

Brilliant driver
We had Mohammed as our driver for 11 days with our tour guide Lahcen. Mohammed was an excellent driver and kept us safe on the rad at all times. He was very helpful, polite, warm and friendly and spat the end we felt like friends. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mohammed, my tour group of 6 people loved him. We had a minibus which gave us plenty of room for the 6 of us to spread out and it was a bonus having Wi-Fi. Mohammed kept the bus clean everyday and there was plenty supply of water which we all appreciated. Thank you Adventure Masters.
Response from the operator: All of ADVENTURE MASTERS staff thank you for this very good return that you took care to share with the community . We are delighted to read that you particularly appreciated the professionalism, kindness, flexibility and hospitality of our teams so that you can enjoy your trip. We hope to see you in morocco again very soon.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The treasures of southern Morocco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does The treasures of southern Morocco cost?
+
Prices start at $44 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The treasures of southern Morocco take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is The treasures of southern Morocco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The treasures of southern Morocco?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The treasures of southern Morocco suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The treasures of southern Morocco?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The treasures of southern Morocco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
