    Perfect way to experience Sedona

Jason was an incredible guide! So friendly and knowledgeable and let us completely customize our Sedona experience (and we had some pretty niche requests - including a specific vortex, crystal shopping, and psychic visit!) The sprinter van was very comfortable and the perfect way to easily and comfortably experience a day trip to Sedona. He picked us up right on time from the Four Seasons around 7:30am and we were back by about 5:30pm. Pricing felt very fair for all we got. Would highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the 5 star review! We love creating custom itineraries for our guests like you. We are so glad we were able to give you the Sedona experience you were looking for with Jason. He is a wonderful guide. We will be sure to let him know you had a great day together! We would love to take you on another adventure next time you visit Arizona! Thanks again. - The DUKOUT Team

Sedona Day Trip - One of a kind experience 🌵

My best friends and I traveled from Rhode Island and had signed up for a guided full-day tour to Sedona with Danny. He was extremely knowledgeable and was an excellent guide for our large group of 7. He kept us on our timeline and showed us numerous locations and sites during the day. He was an amazingly safe driver and filled the day with stories/facts about nature, animals/plants, the local climate and history. He even showed pictures of his adorable pupper, Oscar! We are grateful for our day of memories and Danny’s guidance - I would highly recommend him to anybody looking to schedule this service!

Response from the operator: Thank you Sara for sharing your experience in Sedona! We are so happy you and your friends had a wonderful time with Danny. He really is a great guide and represents what we strive for on DUKOUT Tours -- pacing the day perfectly, driving safely, and being passionate and knowledgeable about the places we guide in. Seeing a picture of Oscar had to be the cherry on top of a perfect day! Thank you again for choosing DUKOUT. We would love to take you on another adventure next time you're in Arizona! Until then, safe travels. -The DUKOUT Team

The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Scottsdale.

How much does The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour) cost?

    +

Prices start at $375 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Scottsdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour) take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Scottsdale is not rushed.

Is The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 88 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Scottsdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour)?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour)?

    +

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Scottsdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Scottsdale and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Sedona Experience - Hiking, Lunch and Wine Tasting (Private Tour) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Scottsdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Scottsdale?

    +

Scottsdale pairs polished Old Town food, art and nightlife tours with hard desert adventure: Jeep runs through the Tonto, hot air balloons at dawn, horseback rides and e-bike routes along the greenbelt. Operator permits decide which trails a tour can actually reach, so we look closely at route detail. On Outty we rank every Scottsdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pedal Bar Crawl of Old Town Scottsdale, Sonoran Desert Jeep Tour at Sunset, 8:00AM Desert Off-Road UTV Tour, 2 hours, 2 people per vehicle. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Scottsdale?

    +

November to April, with dawn departures through the summer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Scottsdale?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
