A great day in Norrebro!
Our tour was phenomenal. Michael the owner of the company took us. This off the main tourist path walking through tour Norrebro was full of interesting facts, great art and culture, and delicious snacks. I highly recommend this tour! You will not be disappointed. This does not replace seeing all the historical sights *which they also have tours* but is an added extra.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're thrilled that you enjoyed exploring Nørrebro with us and discovered the hidden gems, vibrant art scene, and local flavours that make this neighbourhood so special. Michael loved sharing the stories and culture of the area with you. We appreciate your kind recommendation and look forward to welcoming you on another tour soon!

A Great Way To Spend The Afternoon Seeing Other Sides of Copenhagen
Having experienced most of the key sights in Copenhagen, we were looking to go a bit deeper and more ‘off menu’. This experience more than delivered. Our guide was part raconteur, part provocateur and part entertainer, and did a terrific job of showing us a different side of Copenhagen from a native’s perspective.
Response from the operator: Hi Barry, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the tour overall and that Kris’s knowledge and storytelling made a positive impression. We’re sorry to hear about the delayed start and that you unfortunately missed the harbor ferry. We understand how disappointing this must have been, especially when it was one of the main reasons you chose the tour. We also appreciate your comments regarding the pace and the hot weather. Your feedback will be shared with our team as we continue to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for your thoughtful review and recommendation. Good day, Isabella / Go Like a Local

Fabulous tour and guide
I booked this tour because I wanted to see a less touristy part of Copenhagen, and I’m so glad I did! I was the only person on the tour on a rainy, blustery morning (kudos to the tour company for not canceling.) The Norrebro neighborhood was very cool to see and explore. The best part of the tour was the guide, Maybritt. She was engaging and knowledgeable about the neighborhood, Copenhagen, and Denmark, but also went over and above the call of duty to really engage on a personal level. So much of the joy of travel is meeting and connecting with people from the country you are visiting, and I came away from this tour not just knowing more about Copenhagen and Denmark, but feeling like I’d made a Danish friend. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Hi Adena, Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad to hear that you chose to explore Nørrebro and had such a memorable experience with Maybritt. It’s fantastic to know that her knowledge, warmth, and personal approach made the tour so special. We love hearing that you not only learned more about Copenhagen and Denmark, but also felt a genuine connection along the way. Thank you for your kind words and recommendation—we truly appreciate it! Very interesting getting to know the people and city through a very well guides tour.
I really enjoyed our walk!! It was a very unique and interesting experience to walk all these streets that has so much history and at the same time it’s bringing so much growth for the people in Copenhagen. Michael is very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly to be able for us to have a better understanding the soul of this beautiful city and country. Muchas tack Michael.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Copenhagen.
How much does The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Copenhagen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Copenhagen is not rushed.
Is The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Copenhagen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Copenhagen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Copenhagen and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Secret to Danish Happiness: Nørrebro Culture & Fairytales start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Copenhagen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Copenhagen?
+
On Outty we rank every Copenhagen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen, Copenhagen Walking Tour: Politically Incorrect Intro, Copenhagen Highlights 3 Hour Bike Tour with local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Copenhagen?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Copenhagen?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
