Great adventure and our guide Sugar was awesome
Today was a great trip and that is a lot to do with our guide, Sugar. He really looked after me and my wife and we had such a good conversation as we rode around the calm island literally across the river from the madness of Bangkok city. The weather was slightly overcast and there was an occasional breeze which was lovely. Saw loads of birds, a couple of water monitors right on our path and lots more.. We'd recommend the trip and if you get Sugar as the guide then you are lucky! Andy and Lianne

Enjoyable Ride, but Organization Needs Improvement
The ride itself was enjoyable, the meal was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the overall organization could be improved. The team did not show up on time, and no one answered when I tried calling. Thankfully, they eventually contacted the other couple who were in the same situation as us. We were later told that we should have arrived earlier at 12:30, but we had actually been waiting since 12:00. My biggest concern was safety. The first crossing was done on a very small boat without life jackets. Seeing my wife, who cannot swim, on that boat was quite distressing. Overall, the cycling experience and the staff themselves were great, but the organization and safety aspects would benefit from a more professional approach.

Don’t miss hanging out with The Sugar Man!
My wife and I took the “original bike tour in the green jungle of Bangkok” and had “Sugar” as our guide. What an amazing day! Sugar is super friendly and clearly loves what he’s doing. You cannot help but be in a great mood around him. He is energetic and attentive to the tour patrons. Loved getting outside the typical Bangkok hubbub. Thoroughly enjoyed the lushness and slower pace on this suburban island. Sites we wouldn’t have seen without the tour. As this was a weekend tour, Sugar incorporated a bit of the weekend market, introducing our group to some new culinary delights. Highly recommend both Sugar and this tour.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok cost?
+
Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 137 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok?
+
Around 48 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Original Bicycle Tour in the Green Jungle of Bangkok start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
