Margarita tour Santa Fe
Lauren was fantastic and informative, the tour was great fun and the food and drinks sensational
via Tripadvisor
Great experience!
My husband and I participated in the Margarita Trail Tour while in Santa Fe for the weekend. It was one of the best parts of our trip! Our guide, Lauren, with her culinary expertise, also gave us advice on restaurants to try as we headed towards Taos Pueblo, and also in Albequerque. That was a wonderful additional perk! Thank you! I highly would recommend booking with them- and ask for Lauren!

Great tour! Highly recommend!
Great tour! Margaritas were wonderful and the food was superb! The food wasn't just chips and salsa, but real appetizers. Our guide, Lauren, was the best! So informative and just fun to be with. You get a little book with margarita recipes which was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend this tour!

Best margarita tour ever!
Delicious drinks paired with real appetizers from the menus! This is not a chips and salsa tour. Everything was delicious! Each location is important to the history of the city too. This tour gives a great overview of places to come back to later for those just starting their stay and is a fun way to cap off a trip for those about to depart. The guide is knowledgeable about all the best eats in the area and knows a lot of people in the local culinary industry. She’s very happy to offer all her wisdom on the food scene here in Santa Fe. Highly recommend!

Lauren is a Gastro Goddess!
My only complaint is that it wasn’t longer. Lauren is the warmest, most knowledgeable guide we could have hoped for. And OMG she’s so much fun! And she’s hyper vigilant re: safety while navigating the streets. Her deep culinary expertise and love of Santa Fe made it a next level tour that we didn’t expect. I’ve been on culinary and alcohol tours in other cities and none could compare. So grateful we booked this!

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santa Fe.
How much does The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $169 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santa Fe usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santa Fe is not rushed.
Is The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Santa Fe, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Fe can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santa Fe and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santa Fe within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santa Fe?
+
Santa Fe runs on culture: Canyon Road gallery walks, Georgia O'Keeffe country and Ghost Ranch tours, pueblo visits, green chile food tours and Bandelier hikes. Cultural access and guide expertise matter more than price here. On Outty we rank every Santa Fe experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Santa Fe Revisited, Santa Fe Ultimate History Walking Tour, The ORIGINAL Wander New Mexico "Sip & Savor" Plaza Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santa Fe?
+
April to June and September to October, with Indian Market in August. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santa Fe?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
