Great family fun touring medoc!
Alex and Luke were amazing guides. We had so much fun this morning touring on the motorbikes through Margaux in the medoc region. So much fun! Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Big thanks Lucy :)

Retro Sidecar Tour of Medoc
The Retro Sidecar Tour through the Medoc region of Bordeaux with Alex was a great experience. Despite my wife’s reservations at the surprise mode of transport from the start, by the first half hour she was thoroughly enjoying what was a four hour tour. We visited two wineries and had guided tours, was able to see the processing of picked Merlot grapes at the winery and a tasting after the tour. Alex was very professional, courteous and helpful in informing points of interest, history, and places to enjoy good food and wine. Overall a wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time. 🏍🇫🇷🍷😀
Response from the operator: Thanks Mark! It's true that it was funny the difference between the moment your wife saw the sidecar and shortly after... she had big smiles and said hello to everyone :) Thanks to you two :)

Amazon experience - beautiful foods and great wine
The tour guides were a lot of fun and very knowledgable - full of fun facts. Being in a side car was a incredible experience. Bordeaux is beautiful and the views were amazing to get to the chateaus. The wine was delicious. Will definitely be back again to do the full day tour.
Response from the operator: Oh great, you'll be welcome :) Thank you for the review

Fantastic experience, memorable
Fantastic tour, and one we'll remember. There's nothing better than cruising around the medical in a sidecar, with the sunshine and great wine tasting. Best way to spend a Saturday morning and Alexandre was the perfect t host and guide. Very funny, personable and made the experience even better than we thought
Response from the operator: Yeeeeah. Many thanks :)

Amazing
Alex, I cannot thank you enough for your tour and your flexibility. I have spent the last 20 years traveling the world and also learning about wine. Your tour stands out among the best. It was so much fun riding the sidecar though the city and through the vineyards. We enjoyed visiting both wineries and getting to taste the wines (one can order the wine from both places and have it shipped as there is not much room in the sidecar). That sidecar is one of the most comfortable seats I have ever had 😇 We also enjoyed Alex’s insights about Bordeaux and other places to visit.
Response from the operator: Wow, your comment goes straight to my heart. Thank you a thousand times Mark

The Médoc in a sidecar, magic!: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bordeaux.
How much does The Médoc in a sidecar, magic! cost?
+
Prices start at $225 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bordeaux usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Médoc in a sidecar, magic! take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bordeaux is not rushed.
Is The Médoc in a sidecar, magic! worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bordeaux, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Médoc in a sidecar, magic!?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Médoc in a sidecar, magic! suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book The Médoc in a sidecar, magic!?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bordeaux can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bordeaux and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Médoc in a sidecar, magic! start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bordeaux within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bordeaux?
+
On Outty we rank every Bordeaux experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Saint-Emilion Electric Bike Day Tour with Wine Tastings & Lunch, Saint-Émilion Afternoon Tour - 2 Grand crus & French apéritif, "Bordeaux by bicycle: a 3-hour tour immersive experience". The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bordeaux?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bordeaux?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
