Few Hours in Venice
The train ride was long and tiring, and we also experienced a delay, but the gondola ride was definitely the best part of the trip! We loved seeing all the beautiful buildings and taking in the peaceful atmosphere while enjoying the ride. Our guide, Letizia was wonderful and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience! 🇮🇹❤️
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! 🇮🇹 We’re happy to hear that, despite the little delay on the train, the gondola ride made the trip truly special. It’s wonderful to know that you enjoyed your day in Venice! we’ll be sure to share your kind words with your guide. We hope to welcome you again for another memorable experience!

Venize with them
Best guide in Venezia, this man know every corner of history. Very honest and respectful, treat us like family. Explain everything to my grandaughter. Ill recommend him and the company. They keep in touch with you at any time. I recommend them forever!!!! Spent a great time in Venize. 100/100
Response from the operator: ¡Muchísimas gracias por sus bonitas palabras!

Not what I expected
The tour company folks are nice and responsive with helping - however for the value paid it was something I would not do again. I could easily buy my own train ticket and walk around Venice which was how i felt. The tour guide appeared quite indifferent (at best but vibes was very disinterested) and other than the gondola ride and some very surface level talk about the city - that was pretty much it. No tour on the basilica or any other significance with the island. We had a better half hour in the gondola! There were two groups and it was hard to hear without headsets and was only better after the other group bailed. I think we were with our guide for one hour tops tbh. Unfortunate experience really!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as it helps us continuously improve our tours and provide the best possible experience for our travelers. We were pleased to accommodate your request for a train ticket upgrade, and we hope this made your journey to and from Venice more comfortable. We are sorry to hear that the guide did not meet your expectations. We personally select our guides in Venice and regularly experience the tours ourselves to ensure they meet our quality standards. While it is certainly possible to purchase train tickets independently, organizing a day trip to Venice is often more challenging than it may seem. Our goal is to make this experience as smooth and stress-free as possible, giving travelers who are staying in Rome or Florence and who have only a limited amount of time in Italy the opportunity to discover Venice in a single day. This tour is designed to provide an introduction to Venice's highlights within one day. For travelers wishing to explore the city in greater depth, including its islands and lesser-known areas, we always recommend spending at least two or three days in Venice. Thank you again for your feedback. We truly appreciate your comments and will share them with our local team as we continue working to improve our experience.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome take?
+
Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 15-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Magic of Venice in one Day! High speed train from Rome start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
