Loved it
Nupam was so fun!!!! I loved the dance lesson. I wish we could’ve tried on the wedding guest outfits instead of just looking at them.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your great feedback! We’re so glad you had fun with Nupam and enjoyed the dance lesson! It’s always exciting to bring cultural experiences to life. Your suggestion about the wedding guest outfits is a great idea, and we’ll definitely keep that in mind for future tours. Hope to see you again for more fun experiences!

The wedding preparations experience
We had a great day learning about the Indian weddings. We did many experiences learning Bollywood dance, trying and seeing intricate cross stitch. We had an amazing tour guide Tanu! She is going places :)

Unique, Unexpected, and Heartwarming. A Perfect Day Exploring India’s Wedding Culture from the Inside.
My husband and I came to India to attend a wedding. Therefore, when we were in Delhi, we decided we must do the Wedding India Tour with No Footprints. We spent the day with our walk leader, Esha Sahor Lepcha. The day was just magical. December happens to be wedding season so we experienced first hand the excitement of the season. Once Esha knew we were attending a wedding, not only did she explain all there is to know about its cultural significance but she made sure we would be prepared for the event. Even taking the time to help us purchase the outfits needed for the different wedding events. We have traveled to many countries and we are often pushed to buy things, but with Esha, she understood our budget and worked with the shop owners to ensure they kept us within our budget. We felt very taken care of, and felt like she was working in our best interest. The tour itself was so fun! We were taken to the studio of a famous Indian dancer and learned a popular wedding dance from her apprentice. Having a private tour experience, we felt free to play and have fun at our dance session. We never would have found this experience on our own. We also enjoyed walking in the high-end wedding fashion district. It was a huge contrast to the chaos and energy of the wedding market in Old Delhi. I loved both. We also experienced an embroidery lesson, given by a young man who has worked 22 years in his craft. He was a true artisan. And while he spoke no English, Esha translated our conversation so we could learn from him. This was held in the fashion workroom of the designers. It gave us a behind the scenes look at how the stunningly beautiful and elaborate clothing is made. In the evening, we walked the streets lined with shop after shop of clothing like you’ve never seen. The tiny alley ways were lit with twinkling lights and Esha was so proud to show us this aspect of Delhi. It was not expected. Next we went to a fortune teller. That was so fun! Esha explained that couples with arranged marriages go to see if they are a good fit and is a big part of the wedding processes. After 35 years of marriage, I was assured by our Dr. fortune teller, a larger than life man who looked like he came straight from the movies, we’d be ok:) and he actually hit on some pretty specific points that were spot on! Esha also accommodated last minute requests for a quick stop or a bite to eat. We had a wonderful and kind driver, Saabir, with us the entire time, when we weren’t being whisked through the bustling streets in a rickshaw he was there to drive us from location to location in a beautiful, clean, air conditioned van. We felt so safe and pampered the entire day. Lastly we enjoyed our conversations with Esha. She is so knowledgeable on many topics. It was interesting to learn about all things political, social, historical, cultural, including current events. Esha is a young woman in her 30’s and so her fresh take on the future of India was insightful. We felt lucky to be with someone so well versed in so many topics. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our days with No Footprints. The tours are unique and carefully curated for experiences that are above expectation.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful experience with us! We are delighted to hear that your Wedding India Tour with Esha was such a memorable and enriching part of your journey in Delhi. Esha has a remarkable ability to make every tour personal and meaningful, and it’s heartwarming to know she went above and beyond to prepare you for the wedding you were attending. From helping with your wedding outfits to ensuring you stayed within your budget, it’s clear she truly cared about making you feel comfortable and cared for. Your description of the day sounds magical! Learning a wedding dance at the studio, exploring both the high-end wedding fashion district and the lively Old Delhi wedding market, and experiencing the intricate art of embroidery gave such a complete and vibrant picture of India’s wedding culture. It’s wonderful that Esha could guide you through these contrasting aspects with such pride and insight. The fortune-telling session sounds like such a fun and unexpected highlight, and we’re glad you had the chance to experience this unique part of wedding traditions! Dr. Fortune Teller must have been quite the character, and it’s lovely to hear he reassured you of your long and happy marriage in his own dramatic style.

Insightful Indian wedding tour with the fabulous Tanu as your guide.
Take this tour with Tanu -she is a wealth of knowledge and such a personality. She was so invested in our satisfaction. She shares her personal story and insights as she explains different aspects of an Indian wedding. First stop was a Bollywood style dance lesson where we learned some choreographed steps. Our dance instructor had such an upbeat personality . She made it fun to learn and taught us what all the arm movements signified in the dance. Educated about dance, we headed to a high end clothing district where we met a tailor who does intricate custom work! Various styles were presented to us while we each embroidered our initials on cloth. The last stop was with a guru who gave us some insight into our futures. Fun tour- a nice break from the crowded streets and endless car honking.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive cost?
+
Prices start at $3100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Indian Wedding Tour : Dance, Textile, Workshops all inclusive start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
