Unlike a typical brewery hop, the Hop Walk centers on Germantown's story — one of Nashville's oldest, most historic neighborhoods. Your guide, a friendly Nashville local, brings the area's Prohibition-era past and its rise as a brewery hub to life with every pour. The pay-as-you-go format sets this tour apart from guided experiences that lock you into drink packages. You decide what to order and how much — a hazy IPA, a seltzer, a glass of wine, or nothing at all. Cocktails and N/A options are available too, so it works for beer fans and non-drinkers alike. The route itself is part of the draw. Over one mile, guests visit three distinct Germantown landmarks — from Bearded Iris Brewing's Greenway-side taproom to Monday Night Brewing's home inside the historic Neuhoff meatpacking site, ending near the Sounds ballpark at Tailgate Brewery. It's a walkable mix of local flavor, craft beer, and neighborhood history. Dogs and kids 12+ are welcome on this tour!

Fun Times on The Hop Walk

Our group of 4 had a wonderful time on The Hop Walk. The details of the experience were modified a bit between the time that we booked and the time that we went, but the owner promptly communicated these changes to us and everything worked out well. Drew was a fantastic guide for this tour. He was knowledgeable about the breweries we visited as well as the local history. He was friendly, funny and professional throughout. I would highly recommend this tour to any craft beer enthusiasts visiting Nashville. Should we find ourselves back in Nashville, we plan to book one of this company's other tours. Thanks again, Drew, Adam and team!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our tour and for leaving us such a great review. We're so glad you enjoyed the afternoon with Drew and our team. Hope to see you again!

    Best Gulch Tour Ever!

Even with a last minute cancelation from another group, Drew was on time and took my wife and I for an incredible, personal tour of the Gulch breweries. Fun, informative and some good beers, we loved the tour and Drew could not have been nicer and more entertaining. Make sure you ask for him!

Response from the operator: Thank you for leaving us a 5-star review and for shouting out Drew! We're so glad you enjoyed the afternoon with him. Cheers!

    Highly recommend

Drew was very knowledgeable and fun. Happy tour for us. The beer was good but instead of a pint, I would have rather tried a flight. However, I definitely appreciated the pint.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review and for your feedback - we're always looking for ways to improve the experiences we offer. Cheers to you!

    What an awesome experience!

Our guide, Drew, was phenomenal! He was so informative with history, stories, and just an all around great guy. He was courteous, funny and engaging. I’m not a big drinker but I really enjoyed this experience. Drew pivoted at the last minute about the last brewery we were supposed to tour as we have one in our hometown so he made a couple suggestions of others. We went with his second option (taphouse)that had amazing BBQ! What a perfect ending to our brewery tour! Highly recommend this tour and Drew is top notch! Cheers to all!🍻

Response from the operator: Thank you for your 5-star review and for giving Drew such a positive shout out. We hope to have you with us again soon!

    Brews and a blast

Drew was a blast! His presentation and knowledge of the area was entertaining and informative. One of our stops was for a brewery we have in our hometown. There were only 4 of us on our tour, so Drew took us to an alternative place. He’s very accommodating, fun, and he made our experience very memorable.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We're so glad you enjoyed the tour and are happy Drew was able to accommodate your requests. We take pride in knowing our way around town and are always happy to be flexible when we can to provide the best tour possible. Cheers!

The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nashville.

How much does The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nashville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nashville is not rushed.

Is The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nashville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nashville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nashville and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nashville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nashville?

    +

Nashville's activity mix is unusually music-heavy: Ryman and Opry backstage tours, RCA Studio B sessions, songwriter rounds and honky-tonk crawls on Broadway. Around that sit distillery runs to Lynchburg and general-admission pedal taverns. Outty Ranking penalises the crawl operators that oversell group size, which is the most common complaint in this city. On Outty we rank every Nashville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Nashville: Authentic Food Tour with 5 Tastings of Local Dishes, Nashville's Wildest Honky Tonk Public Party Bus (21+), Nashville RCA Studio B & Country Music Hall of Fame Ticket Combo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nashville?

    +

April to May and September to October, when patios open and the humidity drops. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nashville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour?

    +

Included: Guided Neighborhood Walk. Not included: Snacks; and Alcoholic beverages. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

    +

Look for a guide wearing a Music City Brew Hop t-shirt at the bar! Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.

What languages is The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for The Hop Walk - Nashville Guided Brewery Walking Tour?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
