There are viewpoints, and then there's this one. Taller than Cerro Picacho and practically unknown, this place is a real hidden gem in the mountains of Medellin. The experience begins with an authentic route through neighborhoods full of history, where you will begin to connect with the real city, away from the touristic. As we ascend towards the territory of St Helena, the environment changes and you enter a more natural area, until you reach a unique point within the area of influence of the Arví Park. An exclusive country viewpoint awaits you there. An intimate space, surrounded by nature, where the experience is transformed: campfire, music, lights and an atmosphere designed to disconnect you from the noise and connect with the city from another perspective. From this privileged point you can see a complete panoramic view of the Aburrá Valley: Medellín, Bello, Envigado, Itagüí, La Estrella, all illuminated under the night sky. It's not a massive place. It's not an ordinary viewpoint.

Not worth the price, dont do moto

All in all not worth it for the money. So its definitely a climb and the best view possible although I think the day time is probably better, however riding on the back of a small motorcycle for close to 4 hours total is not worth it and over $100 to do so. If you're going to have a bonfire and spend a while up there sure but I think riding the cable car or paragliding is a much better trip. Tour guide was a great guy, very flexible, and knowledgeable about Medellin.

    Motorbike through Medellín

Duvan was the most excellent guide. He explained many aspects of Columbian life and how the people are resilient. The views from Mirador Balcones was a site to see. Breathtaking to be in such a great country and experience the beauty of the city night views. A must-do for those wishing to feel a connection to Columbia. Mototbiking through the hills of Medellín is an unforgetable experience
