The Perfect Amalfi Coast Tour – Thanks to Nunzio

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Nunzio. His knowledge of the Amalfi Coast is exceptional, and he shared fascinating information throughout our day. He thoughtfully guided us through Ravello, the beautiful Gardens of Villa Cimbrone, Amalfi, and Positano, making each stop memorable and enjoyable. To top off a perfect day, Nunzio arranged dinner reservations for us at Da Costantino, where we enjoyed not only a wonderful meal but also one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever experienced. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made our experience truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Nunzio to anyone looking to explore the Amalfi Coast in a meaningful and stress-free way.

    Exceptional Private Tour Guide

We did 2 amazing tours with Nunzio. After picking us up at the Naples airport, we visited Pompeii. He hired an exceptional tour guide for us.. we also visited a church and did an olive oil tasting . Our 2nd tour was the Amalfi coast. This tour is one of his specialties. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Unlike other tour guides, he doesn't rush you letting you explore at your own pace. He was always willing to stop so we could take pictures of the beautiful scenery. He often would point out the best spot to do so. His recommendations for eating are spot on. Would highly recommend Nunzio for private touring of Italy.

    Best Tour Guide in Italy

My boyfriend and I did a tour of the Amalfi coast with Nunzio, after being recommended by both my aunt and sister. It was hands-down, the best tour we could’ve ever asked for. Nunzio did everything perfect, from showing us the best places to see on the Amalfi coast to ensuring that we were comfortable at all times of the trip. He picked us up all the way in Rome and drove us to the Amalfi coast for the day, taking his time and making sure that we were having the most amazing experience. It was a smooth tour that brought us genuine Italian experiences. One of our favorite parts of the tour was when he brought us a shop near the Amalfi coast and showed us how they make the homemade cheese. He gave us free time to roam around, but also made sure we were familiar with any area we were walking into. He is super knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, making the conversation flow all day. Truly could not recommend Nunzio and his tours more. It will definitely be a highlight of your trip in Italy! We had such a perfect amazing day with him!

The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.

How much does The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast cost?

    +

Prices start at $93 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.

Is The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 110 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast?

    +

Around 39 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Godfather of the Amalfi Coast start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Positano?

    +

On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Positano?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Positano?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
