    Amazing experience

I've done probably 15-20 escape rooms, and this was one of the best locations I've done. I did four rooms here; I think the children's school one was my favorite. Also, having Priscilla as a host/guide was AMAZING. She's so warm and friendly, but also really excited about the rooms, and took her time to talk with us after the room was over. She made the experience go from great to abjectly wonderful. I would book another room just to be able to talk about with Priscilla afterwards.

Best night ever with my besties

I have done many escape rooms in different countries, and this was the best escape room experience! We were 5 friends with a varying degree of experiences with escape rooms, and we liked it so much so that we spontaneously did TWO rooms the same night: Special OPs and something at a school (I forget the name, sorry!) The clues and puzzles were well-thought-through and logically sound, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, the operators (Dan greeted us and Priscilla guided us) were so resourceful and kind, and all the facilities were accessible for me with crutches! I could still enjoy the experiences, and I was offered a wheeled chair to sit and rest throughout the game as well. There are also alternate accessible routes to pass through between the rooms. I cannot stress enough how professional, supportive, and generous Priscilla was for our visit. She really made our night with her positive energy, knowledgeable guidance, and witty and reliable presence. So I’d like to thank you, Priscilla, once again, and we WILL definitely be back and be in touch with you when we do after our respective summer travels. Sending lots of love! P.S. Prison break was definitely much harder than Special Ops. The school-themed one was really enjoyable too for its abundant amount of things to do, so maybe be more than 4 ppl at least for that room!

Response from the operator: This is so great, 778miinjis! We are so thrilled to hear you all had such an awesome time, thank you so much for such an amazing review!! Priscilla will be so happy to hear how much you enjoyed your experience with her. Let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you. Thank you so much again and see you next time! ⭐️

Amazing first experience that exceeded all my expectations

Everything exceeded my expectations for my first space rooms! Right from the start, everyone was very friendly and welcomed us with enthusiasm. The atmosphere was already very encouraging; like everyone was rooting for us to succeed. Our guide, Priscilla, was absolutely amazing and very accommodating for the needs of everyone in our group. She gave us time to ask any questions before we began and once we escaped, she was so excited for us that it felt like she was part of our team. She even stayed after to answer any questions about some of the clues and connections we may have missed or were unsure about when solving the puzzles in the moment during the escape. She offered to take some fun group pictures to commemorate the moments which we will all cherish. We finished with time to spare and she kindly offered if we wanted to try another room. It was so much fun and we hope to go back again to try all the rooms. Definitely recommend Priscilla as your guide if able. So friendly, enthusiastic, and easy to talk that it really was the bow on top of an already amazing night.

Lots of tricks and fun stuff

You went to the escape room as a team building experience. We had a great time in the room. It was very tricky and sneaky, but we coordinated and got there in the end!

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you for leaving us a review! We are really glad that you had a really great time with our games! The puzzles can definitely be a tricky challenge, but I'm glad you all got through it with a memorable experience!

The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.

How much does The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown cost?

    +

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown take?

    +

Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.

Is The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 416 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown?

    +

Around 146 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Escape Game San Francisco: Epic 60-Minute Adventures Downtown start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Francisco?

    +

San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Francisco?

    +

September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Francisco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
