Valentine’s Day Wine Tour

What an unforgettable Valentine’s Day adventure in Chile! We booked the Casablanca Valley Wine Tour + Valparaiso small group tour, and it exceeded all our expectations, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Mauricio. From the moment he picked us up in Santiago, his infectious energy and warm personality set the perfect tone for the day. Mauricio’s deep knowledge of the region’s history, winemaking traditions, and hidden gems made every stop feel like a personal discovery—he shared fascinating stories about the Casablanca Valley’s cool-climate vineyards The drive to Valparaiso was equally magical; Mauricio navigated the colorful hillsides effortlessly, sharing insider tips on street art, funicular rides, and the best viewpoints for those stunning Pacific Ocean vistas. He was attentive to our needs, ensuring we had plenty of photo ops, breaks, and even accommodated a last-minute request for an unplanned stop. Mauricio’s professionalism, kindness, and genuine love for his country made this tour feel like traveling with a friend rather than a guide. If you’re heading to Chile, do yourself a favor and book this tour—ask for Mauricio! We’ll be raving about this experience for years. 5 stars all the way!

Response from the operator: Dear Doris, I have no words to thank you for such a nice review... Thank you very much for your kindness and appreciation. I was a real pleasure and honor to show you and tell you more about my country, thank you so much for choosing and trust us. We look forward to see you again soon in Chile! All the best for you always!

10/10 tour! A Must-do for anyone visiting Santiago!

Mauricio was a fantastic travel guide! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. We had a great time touring two vineyards (with very generous servings) and walking around Valparaiso. Everything was very organized and smooth, he even booked us a lunch reservation at a beautiful restaurant with wonderful ocean views and delicious food - One of the best meals we had our entire trip. We would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone! Well worth it!

Just go...you will enjoy yourself

Mauricio was a gem of a guide! We were picked up at our hotel on time, the van was clean and comfortable for the ride, and he also made sure we had everything we needed (restroom breaks, food, water, wine and he took great photos) while being professional yet very friendly. We will take a tour with Central Valley Tours any time were are back in Santiago. The tour was the perfect amount of wine tasting with art and culture that we appreciated.

Response from the operator: Dear Paulette, thank you so much for your review! I'm extremely glad that you'd enjoyed our tour! It was a great pleasure expending such a nice day with you and David! Hope to see you someday soon! Kind regards!

Beautiful Day Trip from Santiago

Mauricio is a great tour guide and safe driver. His knowledge about the area includes historical and personal anecdotes, which makes him very easy to talk to and ask questions. The walking tour in Valparaiso is excellent - Mauricio knows great spots for photo ops that include the vibrant art and beautiful views. The wineries are also excellent, and tastings are not stingy! I would definitely recommend this tour as the perfect day excursion from Santiago.

Great time. Stop at a winery on the way to Valparaiso, then on to Valparaiso. Walking tour with our guide taking photos along the way. Lunch overlooking the ocean. Winery stop on the way back.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review Mark! We are very glad that you'd enjoyed our services! Best regards!

The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.

How much does The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour) cost?

+

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour) take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.

Is The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour)?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The best Valparaiso and Wine tasting tour!! (small group tour) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santiago?

+

On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santiago?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santiago?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
