Our first stop will be Chinchero, a typical Andean village which combines Inca ruins with a colonial church, some wonderful mountain views and a colorful Sunday market. We will learn about the process on how the local people make their textiles. 3. Maras Moray Tours

Moray is an archaeological site located approximately 4.5 miles from the town of Maras and 39 miles from Cusco. Its most impressive feature is its system of circular agricultural terraces, which are up to 330 feet deep. Some people believe that the Incas used this place as a kind of laboratory to determine the optimal conditions for growing crops of each species.

  4. Salinas de Maras

The tour continues with a visit to the Colonial town of Maras and its church. 60 minutes here · Admission included

  7. Parque Arqueologico Pisac

We will visit the stunning ruins of Pisac and its colourful local market. An incredible site with relatively small number of tourists visiting daily. This place has different buildings such as plazas, temples, pools and other structures, that were constructed between the 10th and 11th centuries AD. We highly recommend reserving several hours to explore this site. The Inca architecture is impressive as they used their techniques to build enormous terraces which go from south to east covering a huge mountain located from 3,000-3,450 masl (9,843 - 11,319 fasl). Its palaces and the way the stone blocks have been placed is truly incredible.

Achieving a life long dream at 70

The Sacred Valley is an incredible place. The tour was very enlightening. I learned so much about the culture. How they weave and dye their clothing. The amazing structures they built and equally the innovative agriculture methods they perfected. What a tour, my tour guide Jimmy spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Worth every penny!!!!!

Response from the operator: Blaine, thank you so much for your kind review. The Sacred Valley really does have so much to offer beyond the scenery, the weaving traditions, the agricultural terraces, the incredible ingenuity of the people who built it all. We're so glad Jimmy brought it all to life for you. We'll make sure he sees your kind words. Thank you for making Peru part of your story. We hope it was everything you dreamed it would be!

Great Service

This company was recommended to me by a friend and boy they did not disappoint. They always respond swiftly and assisted me in planning my entire trip to Lima and Cusco. They took care of all transportations, hotels and excursion bookings. The guides they use are top notched. They are knowledgeable, friendly and caring. The agents assigned to me were always there on time consistently. And ensure I was always properly prepared for my next day of activities. I didn't spend that much days so I need to revisit Peru and I for sure will be using Into Peru again. They make traveling so much earlier.

Response from the operator: Thank you! Really glad the recommendation from your friend held up and that the planning process felt smooth throughout. We'll be here when you're ready!

The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $124 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour take?

+

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Best of Sacred Valley Full-Day Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
