Alan Jackson experience
I grew up listening to Alan Jackson's music, so while visiting family in Nashville, I had to check out his new Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery and Museum for myself. I was not disappointed! The museum has so many authentic items displayed that the Jackson family saved throughout the years which is just remarkable. The whiskey tasting is absolutely worth it as the staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you may have. There was live music playing and plenty of merchandise to choose from. Whether you're a lifelong country music fan or just looking for something unique to do in Nashville, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for coming in!

Fun for Locals AND Visitors ⭐
As a Nashville local, I'm always looking for fun places to take friends and family when they're in town, and Silverbelly is definitely going on that list! We visited the Alan Jackson Museum and Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery shortly after it opened, and it ended up being one of our favorite stops downtown. The museum is really well done with a great collection of memorabilia, photos, awards, and personal items from throughout Alan Jackson's career. Even if you're not a huge Alan Jackson fan, it's a really interesting look at his career and the impact he's had on country music. We opted for the museum ticket that included a whiskey tasting, and I'm so glad we did! It was such a unique concept and made it a great value. I've been to plenty of museums, but this was the first time I'd ever finished the experience with a guided whiskey tasting. Every drink we tried was excellent, but my favorites were the Chattahoochee Lemonade and their take on the Espresso Martini. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was relaxed but fun. I also picked up a Silverbelly hat in the gift shop, and it's become one of my favorites. I can't wear it anywhere without someone complimenting it or asking where I got it! (People love the upside down part) It's a great alternative to the typical Broadway scene, and we'll definitely be back.

Very cool for the Alan Jackson fan. Did the museum and Whiskey Tasting which was fun. Museum brought back many memories of listening the music and seeing old clips. Lots of cool memorabilia too.

It was fun!
Went before last concert. It was fun! Saw a lot of cool stuff. Admission fee was so reasonable especially with the whiskey included. Stayed an hour and a half or so.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nashville.
How much does The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nashville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nashville is not rushed.
Is The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nashville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nashville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nashville and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nashville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nashville?
+
Nashville's activity mix is unusually music-heavy: Ryman and Opry backstage tours, RCA Studio B sessions, songwriter rounds and honky-tonk crawls on Broadway. Around that sit distillery runs to Lynchburg and general-admission pedal taverns. Outty Ranking penalises the crawl operators that oversell group size, which is the most common complaint in this city. On Outty we rank every Nashville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Nashville: Authentic Food Tour with 5 Tastings of Local Dishes, Nashville's Wildest Honky Tonk Public Party Bus (21+), Nashville RCA Studio B & Country Music Hall of Fame Ticket Combo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nashville?
+
April to May and September to October, when patios open and the humidity drops. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nashville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What happens to The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Nashville. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
What do travelers say about The Alan Jackson Experience | Museum & Whiskey Tasting?
+
Across 6 reviews averaging 4.8 out of 5, recurring themes include food and drink, knowledge and storytelling, good for families. The tastings and food stops are a highlight for most reviewers.
