This is your must-do experience in MX

I’m so incredibly glad that after a lot of research we ended up going with Curado Tours. Our tour guide, Alex (Alejandro,) was such a pleasure, so knowledgeable, incredibly kind & accommodating. The balloon ride was lovely. He then took us to the pyramids to beat the crowds & the heat, which was an amazing idea seeing as how the place was soooo busy by the time we were done with the tour. We had the freedom to walk around, see the area & listen to his amazing storytelling without the multitude of people that arrived later. The pyramids were followed by the most amazing breakfast & possibly one of the best meals we’ve ever had — the location was a personal recommendation of Alex. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great & the views right across from the cathedral were magical. We also explored a local brewery & were attended to by the owners, who were so sweet & welcoming. I could not recommend this experience more & I urge you to ask for Alex when you book your tour. This experience was one of the highlights of our trip.

The entire experience was so worth it. Started the day with balloon ride over the pyramids. We got so many pics and vids and ended the ride with bubbly. Then our walking tour was full of so much info. I’m a huge history buff and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Next breakfast overlooking the volcano (the enchiladas and croissants were the best thing ever). Finally 2 more tours, one all about agave and then the finale at Cien Mascaras. Super delicious beer and everyone was so friendly. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Worth every dollar.

Well worth it!

It was amazing! We all loved the hot air balloon experience and the kids felt safe and had a blast. We would have enjoyed more time at the cathedral, but it was a great tour. We had a great driver and knowledgeable guide. I would highly recommend this!

Great tour!! Great tour guide!

The balloon flight was beautiful and seamless. A true once in a lifetime experience. The pyramids are massive and the tour was very informative. The lunch was very good. An extreme large buffet. The brewery was wonderful. 5-6 types of beer all included. Very nice and clean environment. The tour guide Alejandro was very informed and gave a ver accommodating tour.

Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal cost?

+

Prices start at $96 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Teotihuacan Sunrise Balloon Ride with Breakfast,Pyramids & Mezcal start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
