Fingers crossed your trip will be as good as ours
This was a great trip not only did we see both dolphins and whales which was a bonus. But the whole trip was great the boat was called shogun and was very comfortable good music good food and a wonderful crew
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your lovely review 😊 We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed the whole experience on board the Shogun. Spotting both dolphins and whales always makes the trip even more special 🐬🐋 It’s also great to know that you enjoyed the comfort of the boat, the music, the food and especially our crew. Creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere for our guests is very important to us. Thank you for choosing us and we hope to welcome you back again soon in Tenerife!

You should take the tour!
The weather was dusty of the sand from Africa and visibility was not very good. The ride out to the ocean was far from smooth and got some passengers seasick, but despide that, we got to see a big dolphine pod. Unfortunately, pilot whales were out of sight. There were also some groups of flying fishes to see. It was an enjoyable tour and best is to see the animals in nature instead of being in captivity!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience on board the Shogun. We’re glad to hear that despite the hazy weather conditions you were still able to see a large pod of dolphins and even flying fish. Sea conditions and visibility can sometimes vary due to natural factors like the sand from Africa, but we’re happy you still enjoyed the trip and the chance to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.

Day aboard the Shogun
It was a nice day aboard the Shogun ship. We saw many whales and dolphins, the stop in Masca the best of the trip, plus we ate on board. Repeat without a doubt
Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por su comentario.

Stunning cliffs.
Excursion very complete, we have seen pilot whales and dolphins. The stop for swimming and eating in the setting of the cliff of Los Gigantes, wonderful.
Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por su comentario.

Performance not in accordance with the description
2/5 because although there is deception about the performance, we saw a family of whales and dolphins. We have never been to los gigantes, let alone Masca Bay. The shogun sails with the engine going back and forth between costa adeje and los cristianos and the swimming stop was made in front of the beach of los cristianos. The crew is, however, very nice The meal is very arbitrary
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We´re glad to hear you were able to see whales & dolphins during your excursion, but we´re sorry other aspects of the experience did not meet your expectations. On the day of your trip, the weather and sea conditions were unfortunately not ideal, and for safety reasons our route had to be adjusted. This meant we were unable to travel as far as Los Gigantes as originally planned. We understand how disappointing this can be, especially if you were looking forward to visiting Los Gigantes. We appreciate your kind words about our crew and that they made a positive impression. Your feedback is valuable and we hope to welcome you back in better conditions.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tenerife : Whales and Dolphins with Food and Bath in Los Gigantes start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
