    Nice, but also touristy!

Overall, the tour was very informative and entertaining. Tomas is a fun tour guide. Were traveling with two minibuses in two groups of 7-8 people. We saw a lot, had great views, but also spent a lot of time in the car. I would not have needed the drive through Santa Cruz to Teresitas beach, but I would have preferred more time in La Laguna. The stay there of one hour is not enough for this place in my opinion. In the end, the cars drove to the respective hotels and the tour guide did not say goodbye to us before, which seemed a bit out of round. Still a nice tour!

Response from the operator: Vielen Dank für Ihre ausführliche Bewertung!

Good introduction to Island without the hassle of driving

The Tamaran VIP Van Tour to Anaga is designed for first-timers needing an introduction to the island. Parking is increasingly a problem at the national parks. Being on a tour helped with this issue. Having an experienced local driving the hairpin curves was also reassuring and left us with ample time to enjoy the view. One only gets a few moments at the look-outs to snap a few instagrammable photos, but it was enough. The tour operators did a great job, but as soon as the part of the tour is given over to a third party, the quality goes down. For example: The lunch was included, but, in my opinion, the restaurants seem to offer a lower quality to the all-inclusive tours. I would personally prefer to opt out or buy my own lunch for a reduction in price. Additionally, the wine tasting was laughable. Our guide was wonderful, and explained more about the wines than the bodega. The bodega simply served four wines in shot glasses and left the room with no explanation whatsoever. Tamaran Tours may need to negotiate harder with external providers in order to keep their customers coming back. Overall, we enjoyed out trip, mostly because of the personalized service of our driver.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review of your experience. We truly appreciate that you highlighted the professionalism of our team and the comfort of having a local driver on the winding roads of Anaga — we’re glad you enjoyed both the scenery and the company. We also take note of your constructive observations regarding the collaborating establishments. While lunch and wine tasting are organized through third-party providers, we continuously review our partnerships to ensure that the service quality remains aligned with the standards we aim to maintain throughout the entire experience. Feedback like yours is invaluable in helping us strengthen these aspects. We’re very pleased to know that, despite these points, you enjoyed the day and felt well taken care of by our staff. Thank you once again for sharing your impressions — they help us refine our tours and make them even more enjoyable for future visitors.

    Nice, but...

It was a nice tour and we saw a lot, but we didn't have enough time to see everything. Free time in the city was lost because the guide did not come to give explanations. Better to adjust the price and visit less.

Response from the operator: Gracias por compartir su experiencia.

VIP trip around Anaga, La Laguna, and Candelaria

Another great tour with Tamaran! This time, we went to the north east part of the island. Our guide's name was Frankie, and he was every bit energetic, professional, and fun to be around. The tour lasts for most of the day, and you will see the not-so-tourist part of the island. To me, this is very important, since it provides a sense of balance, history and local culture. We all love Playa Las Americas but the novelty wears off after a while. We ate a great restaurant called Xiomara, complete with a fish, pork, and vegetarian menu. Bottles of wine are part of the meal if you would like a drink, and water is also served. I absolutely loved this tour, which I booked through my TUI Hotel here. I recommend this, since it makes the whole experience that much more easier. They will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Overall, I give Tamaran 5/5 for fun and customer satisfaction.

Response from the operator: Amazing! Thanks!

Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.

How much does Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna cost?

    +

Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.

Is Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tenerife VIP Tour Around Anaga and La Laguna start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tenerife?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tenerife?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tenerife?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
