About this experience
The PLUS flight is the ideal and most popular flight for your first paragliding experience. You will observe the entire west coast of Tenerife from the top. We will take advantage of the thermal air currents that form in the mountains to gain maximum altitude and fly over the town of Adeje, its mountains and its ravines, and then go towards the coast of Adeje and fly over the Atlantic Ocean before landing on the beach of La Enramada. *This flight depends 100% on the thermal currents of the day. In the event that the PLUS flight is not made, the STANDARD flight will be charged or we will deliver the audiovisual and photographic report for free.

Amazing experience I am glad I did
I am 70. One of my favorite experiences in my life. Cristo is amazing. It was easy. Fun. He has 15 years doing tandem flying. Much more alone. I was never nervous. A must do for everyone.
Response from the operator: Thank you. See you next year.

Unforgettable Paragliding Experience- Cristo and Cat are amazing!
I had an absolutely incredible experience with Kangaroo Tandem Paragliding! From the moment we arrived, Cristo and Cat, the two instructors, made us feel completely at ease with their professionalism and friendliness. They clearly have a deep passion for flying and their enthusiasm is infectious. Both instructors took the time to explain every step of the process, making sure we felt comfortable and confident before taking off. The actual flight was breathtaking, and the views were simply stunning! Cristo and Cat are true experts—during the flight, they made everything feel smooth and safe, while also adding some thrilling moments for excitement. If you’re looking for an amazing paragliding experience with a team that combines fun, safety, and expertise, Kangaroo Tandem is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your words.

Horrible
Recently I decided to do paragliding. It was my birthday and I went with my fiancé. After all necessary instructions I was the first one to take off. Once I landed I noticed that my fiancé arm was totally scratched. While they were taking off, apparently wind changed, and they couldn’t take off and it drugged him throw rocks. His arm was scratched, he was a bit bleeding, he also had scratches on his legs under the trousers. After we finished, they dropped us to our car and said: “Thank you. Good luck guys. Happy birthday again”. No first aid, not even offering just to simply clean it with the water or asking if he is okay. NOTHING!!! On their website says that it includes insurance but even basic first aid was not offered and they just left us to deal with this alone. At that point my fiancé was feeling dizziness and feeling like vomiting and in this condition he had to drive to the nearest pharmacy to get any medical attention. At that moment all the experience from paragliding went down to zero.
Response from the operator: Hi Uliana, I am Cristo the instructor who flew with your fiancé and owner of Kangaroo Tandem Paragliding. First of all, I apologize for what happened. It is true that at the time of take-off in the final race there was a sudden change of wind and it made us touch the ramp again once we were already flying over it. This is why when we give the instructions for take-off we insist on continuing to run when we feel that our feet no longer touch the ramp and not to shrink our legs because if we take the ramp again we touch it with our knees. In the case of your fiancé, this is what happened. We touched the ramp again and he had stopped running and shrugged his legs. Touching the ramp with his knees and going off his face. By reflex act we put our arms to protect ourselves, logically. Once in flight I examine him and I see his arms scratched from the friction with the ramp and I ask him about his knees since I can't see them from the position I'm going. And I know from experience that if they touched the arms they also touch the knees. In flight I asked him several times how he was and at all times he replied that it was fine, that it was only a few scratches and he had no blows. It tasted very bad to me because it is absolutely my responsibility. That's why I feel bad that you think I'm not interested in him. Once we landed on the beach I know that I asked him again how he was and he replied "well, well, don't worry". I don't remember if I told him or not to clean the scuffs. If I didn't do it as you claim, it's an unforgivable mistake of mine. We carry a first aid kit in the minibus. It is mandatory to wear it. We also have a compulsory Civil Liability insurance that by law has to cover a minimum of €600,000. Ours covers up to €1,200,000. I can send it to you privately if you wish. And another accident insurance of your own volition. I'm so sorry that you think I haven't taken an interest in your fiancé when it's absolutely my responsibility. But I didn't want to insist and be annoying in asking him if he was okay. Because he always answered yes. I apologize to you as an instructor and as the owner of Kangaroo Tandem Paragliding. It is in both cases my responsibility. As for seasickness, as we say on our website, people who get seasick easily in a car if they do not drive, boat, etc. also get seasick when paragliding. That's why we don't recommend longer flights for the first time. And yours was the PLUS of 25 – 30. I will contact you privately. To offer them a full refund. If my clients are not satisfied with our service. (I feel very disappointed in myself for what happened and for having a bad experience). A cordial greeting and thank you for your sincere comment because it is the way to continue improving our service, learn from mistakes. Cristo Afonso.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight cost?
+
Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tenerife Paragliding: PLUS Flight start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
